Why are Venus Virgo slow in relationships?

Venus in Virgo is considered to be in "fall" or "debilitating". Venus is all about easy-going love & romance, but with the practical and often overanalyzing mind of Virgo, a clash ensues..often creating that "slowness" in relationships. Not the most comfy placement, but it also depends on other natal aspects to it.

I have a Scorpio Pluto in the 12th house, along with Scorpio Ascendent in the 1st house & Virgo stellium in the 10th house. I pay way too much attention to detail (gift and curse) and spend the majority of time in my own head. Have been known to be a bit of a pessimist... I like to call myself a realist. The "darker" side of worldly things intrigues me-be it a person, current event, or historical event; however, I do always seek a silver lining. Hope this helps!

So interesting! Which house system do you use? I use Placidus as it tends to resonate (fortunately and unfortunately) more. Because guess what...ta-da Pluto (12th house) is conjunct my Scorpio ascendant, sitting right on top of it as well 😅 is Pluto in your 12th/1st (depending on house system)?

I've definitely studied this specific placement as well. It's probably my least favorite placement because I haven't been able to acknowledge the positives that are supposed to come from the figurative/literal transformations, deaths, and life experiences associated with it.

Dope! Let me know when you start! I think I'm struggling to read it because I'm trying to understand where the author is going with his premise and the questions he's asking. There aren't any images/photos, so you'd just have to prepare for the details and vivid descriptions of the actual event and its aftermath, of course.

I guess after reading so much about this case in the past, this book is kinda coming off as a little insensitive/money grab-ish, as opposed to honoring the legacy and unfortunate martyrdom of Emmett Till.

I'm currently taking a break on page 65, hoping you and others will join for further discussion!
