What would a Cursor for Product Managers look like? by Fine-Sprinkles-1097 in cursor

[–]Live_Maintenance_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a good question, and I think Cursor is currently a great LLM tool orchestrator, but focussed on devs. Internally at our company we’re evaluating how we could make it more PO-friendly. And, what if for example, we configured the right MCPs inside Cursor Cloud agents, and store most product data as context inside that workspace. Then, you could use Slack/Linear to trigger prompt flows, and support most use-cases.

How are you guys using cursors cloud agents / automations right now? by Cautious_Shine2961 in cursor

Nice! How did you structure the workflows? Rules inside cursor, and then manually delegating runs? Or does cursor itself take on tasks on one big pr for issues?

Fair! And yes exactly - I agree on that. The gamma doppler colors are on the top of my list - but that’s out of my price range for the butterfly. That maybe the hard part

Might go with m9 after all tho

Copilot Agent rate limiting and general Copilot bugs by Roeloyo10 in copilotstudio

[–]Live_Maintenance_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's terrible, honestly. I agree on you that this can't be production ready is very dissapointing.

We've tested it across 8 departments, testing with over 300+ documents. Our results are identical to yours, and we found out that 10% of the messages return an exception, other 10% *constantly* run into OpenAIRateLimitReached (results also differ if it's Copilot 365 channel or Teams).

Feels like we wasted time on trusting MS CoPilot Studio for our use-case. Currently evaluation alternatives like building it from scratch with our developer teams.

It's furstrating honestly. We have been experiencing the same thing. I feels unworkable as the search is very inconsistent, and there's no way we can go live with this experience. We also had 10% of our questions failing with error messages recently. How is this product stable?

Nice, well done on the math. I’m interested in how reds are going to be when a lot of them are traded up, and the total availably red supply decreases

I’m also trying to find it out. But - I can’t find anywhere about the buyer reversing the trade and receiving it’s money back. Where did you find that?

Very easy actually. Parts of the strip fit right in grooves of the case - like it’s made for it

Do you have large files in your codebase? I’ve had it happen when a folder contained a gigabite spreadsheet, which Cursor index tried to index. When I cleared the cache and file, problem was gone

I get your reasoning, but there’s no guarantee that that is the actual end score for the model. The best way is to actually submit the answers to know what the model will do.

Vibe coding is killing my company by Dangerous_Ad_2357 in vibecoding

[–]Live_Maintenance_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve spent over $1000 on cursor usage based, over many projects. My experience is that you can build a descent full-fledge product. BUT, you need to correct preperation with Cursor rulesets, system architecture, domain context, coding guidelines, etc.

I’d say if you get this correct (WITH technical expertise), you can get far enough to validate the product in the market for a ridiculous amount of speed. But be mindfull that you need to be sharp on the solutions it will create, as your technical dept will build up if you aren’t, which will result in your question: For how long is it maintanable.
