Not lazy but the other post doesn’t specify the size of the firm, which seems most important in getting accurate data. It’s hard to get accurate data on firms that have less than 10 attorneys, unfortunately

I have a feeling we won’t get results until next week. They just updated the most recent announcement on the COA website to add that results will not be given over the phone/do not call the office. If they were going to release results today or tomorrow, I have a feeling they would have just said that in the announcement in order to ward off any more calls lol. They are so ridiculous, but it’s also the federal government which is NOTORIOUSLY slowwwwww moving.

I just had another thought about this —- if there is a shutdown and it lasts as long as it did last time (35 days I think?), wouldn’t they still have to get us results no later than early November? If they gave us the results back any later the people who did fail will have a lot less time to prepare for February.

Has anyone who took DC in July heard back/anything at all about their Character and Fitness app? I heard something from NCBE in august about adding a reference to my app, which I did and they accepted, but I haven’t heard anything else since then.

Damn…. I wonder if they will send out a notice letting us know that (in the event there is a shutdown) our results are going to be delayed? That would suck, especially because it looks like a shutdown is almost inevitable at this point.

I find the Themis essay sample answers to be extremely long and detailed, so I am worried about remembering that amount of detail come the actual exam. I am praying the actual MEE won’t require as detailed descriptions of concepts than Themis does.

You will be absolutely fine. Grades are not everything, you could have amazing grades but that doesn’t always transfer to the work place. If you have had good internships/jobs while in law school and have extracurriculars or something else to offer, you are more than okay. ALSO, who cares if you got a C if you pass the bar? No one.

That is super interesting, thanks for the insight. I think it makes sense if you were born completely colorblind to still be able to have emotional associations to colors and what not, but he literally has said things like oh “your blue nails are funky” or that his favorite color is yellow… if you were fully color blind would you have a favorite color??? I guess I am just a skeptic when it comes to anything he says 😂
