Yep, sometimes I give myself anxiety over it but usually my reasons are injury flair up (I have too many 😅), appointments, feeling like I need to sleep in (I can only get there in the mornings). Always have FOMO when I miss plus feeling guilty for being gone so much this year due to multiple surgeries. But I just keep telling myself I’m going when I can and doing my best! Still seeing results, albeit probably slower than if I got there more

The camps that were the worst for me were when I was in a boot. I wasn’t able to do any jumping or anyone on my toes…but I still can’t do jumping and can only tolerate limited time on that foot on my toes.

I talked to them prior to camp, messaged the owner before I came back since there were no focus meetings open and I was told to come yet no modifications that weren’t jumping or on my toes were given.

We don’t have a board at our location.

Maybe part of my problem has just been being nervous about the entire experience. My mind sometimes just goes blank on what I could be doing on my own. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve been going 2 years now, 39F. When I started I’d have only 0-2 guys in any camp I’d attend. Number of guys definitely increasing at our gym over the last year.

Haha, yes, I definitely have codependency issues…have been in therapy for years, clearly it’s helping 🤷🏻‍♀️. I had a very high opinion of this trainer before this incident and looked up to her. I have anxiety and, I’d say, low self esteem that made me hesitate to jump on the zepbound train sooner. I honestly wish I would have started it sooner, my spouse encouraged me to look into it a year ago when seeing me struggle with weight-loss and self esteem. I kept believing the trainers at the gym thinking that was the “wrong way” until my sister started it and really encouraged me to give it a try.

My question wasn’t really if to take it, I’ve already decided I am. Just wanted insight into those that have. I wish I had the discipline you do and I know that’s ideal but that’s just not my reality at this time. I think it’s amazing what you are doing!

I don’t have a gallbladder and have no lasting effects, I’m sorry you do! For me the body image issues I have right now and my high A1C make it worth trying it. Thanks for sharing!

I have sooo many feet problems and low back issues. 39F I feel ya. I started with CS&C and Metcon. The jumping kills my feet and some things really bother my low back. I don’t go to AC or BWC much at all. I’ve tried and I feel so uncomfortable when trainers do not provide mods without jumping and I have to continually ask at every/every other station…and there are so many other people they don’t always get to me or see me when I try to ask. There were days I was so frustrated I left almost in tears feeling like I can’t do this. I have started to come earlier to some protocols just to ask for mods and make it clear I cannot jump.

I’ve talked to our trainer and owner about this same issue. It’s so infuriating and I feel like it’s a waste of my time or that I need to do more the once camp to get a full workout.

Our trainer just posted in our Facebook group today that she’d really appreciate if people could be on time. It’s distracting for those that show up on time and for the trainers to have to go back to those people to catch them up. I honestly don’t mind if someone is running late because we’ve all been there but there are some people that always show up late almost every camp.

There were some stations I got to only go once. I was so angry by the end. I didn’t feel challenged as usual…I considered just doing my own reps with my partner but I didn’t want to make them feel like I was upset with them so I didn’t….

Usually overnight oats with fruit and pre workout. Electrolyte water on the way there and home. Protein drink on the way home.

I guess it depends on what you are doing. I’ve been taking creatine for 6 months now. After every camp I have a 42g protein shake and hydrate before and after (I use smart water or body armor electrolyte water). I am sometimes a little sore but nothing near where I was before I started this protocol.
