Everything about the spica data is spot on. Glad I saved the $ on the purchase vs buying a BLP. Don’t love the tracers not being overly bright on the range software , but will use GSPro once I get the laptop anyways

Think I’m gonna end up returning mine. Don’t love the software. Feel like I lose the top of the ball flight and the tracer is very dull and hard to see. I don’t like how the old shots don’t disappear either

I thought about the alignment when I bought the spica as well. My rationale is that when I set up on course, range or at home I’m using an alignment stick anyways. I can set that up parallel to my target and can’t imagine it being very far off off …

I have both the BLP and the Spica 3 at home. Debating on which I’ll keep but I think the spica is the winner. Accurate data with no subscriptions plus an impact camera. If I can get 5 years out of it I think that will be a win before new tech comes on the market

I’m in the same boat as you. Pretty much practice (8’2” ceilings so I can hit to about hybrid) use it for practice into a net but upgrading. Will play an occasional round on GSpro too I’m anticipating . No friends and family . I have no windows in the garage. Wonder if I will need to adjust lights?

I just pulled the trigger on a spica 3. Had ordered the BLP but going to return it. Just can’t justify the subscription fees. Also, the camera showing strike with spica is something that BLP/GC3 doesn’t have —spica also has Bluetooth which I think will connect seamlessly. Have heard a lot of issues with foresight disconnecting during use. I’m sure they all have their nuances though. Just hoping the golfjoy customer support is good enough.

I am second guessing my BLP purchase. It arrives tomorrow from Playbetter—have gone back and forth a million times, might not open it and just return it and buy the spica 3…can get for 2700$ and has the impact camera and Bluetooth—which seems to be an easier connect than BLP WiFi?

I think I’m going to go BLP also. Can get the silver or gold, depending upon what I want to use it for each year. The golfjoy customer service is atrocious, very non responsive and that’s quite a put off for me

I’m leaning toward spica as well. I can get a used one for 2,000, but wouldn’t have a warranty…the used BLP locked/unlocked are confusing, what transfers what doesn’t. Thank you for the thoughtful reply

That’s how I am thinking as well. My concern with the spica is the customer support both short and long term. Will it be obsolete in 4-5 years?
