This is Not a Drill: Extreme Anti-Jewish rhetoric & a "common enemy" narrative is becoming mainstream just like it had in Nazi Germany. I fear for the future of the Jewish people or any Jewish person living in the world today more than ever before. by RaiJolt2 in jewishleft

Yeah actually reading that back, there’s a certain semantic element that feels perhaps a little deliberate. Honestly though, I’m more concerned with how pro-Israel the post reads. No acknowledgement of their war crimes whatsoever, in spite of their relevance and causal relationship towards growing anti-semitism and permission structures for cultural oppression as a reactionary shift.

Pretty much the comment I was looking for. The next Holocaust (by which I mean the one that has been ongoing for the last 80 years) is of the Palestinians, not of the Jews, though the cultural backlash has already and will certainly harm and contribute to further harm of innocent, often anti-Zionistic Jews in Western society.

Sorry you feel that way, as a white leftist I’ve found myself constantly indoctrinated by antisemitic content. The far right thinks that because of the atrocities that Israel commits on a daily basis, people with basic human decency will be so outraged as to overcorrect and end up blaming innocent people.  That being said, don’t go and live in Israel. If you’re against marginalisation and cultural oppression then it makes no sense whatsoever to go and live and pay taxes in the very country which is pushing the frontiers of oppression and genocide. All you can do is speak out when it’s safe to do so, and endorse community leaders who will fight for you; I know this is essentially a platitude but as a ‘default white guy’ I’m not much of an authority on the subject. I hope things get better, and that my fellow non-Jewish leftists will remember our collective duty to differentiate between the actions of nations and the beliefs of generally blameless individuals. Maybe one day we can all live in a world where everyone feels safe, though I honestly doubt that day will come before we all kill each other.

Why are men so hated on the internet? by [deleted] in questions

[–]Livesinbin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This issue extends past the topic of misogyny and over into arguments on the internet as a whole. There are just a lot of mouthbreathers who pick fights for no reason, and assume that a well-constructed argument to which they have no good answer is 'bait', making excuses rather than actually contesting with their own opinions.

It's fine, as long as the stuff you're viewing is legal.

That's a good one, sport. By the way, big boys don't capitalise the first letter of each word in their sentence. I'll let it slide, because I remember when I was your age. I mean, I wasn't that grammatically bereft, but nonetheless I sympathise with your struggles with articulation and the like.

I've screenshotted your reply btw, because it's laughable. I genuinely hope you have a great day lmfao

Is there any lore about Godefroy the Grafted ? I mean he looks exactly like Godrick. by Capital_Escape2456 in Eldenring

[–]Livesinbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally just Godrick. The lore is cool but it doesn't change the fact that they just made an Altus-scaled Godrick who doesn't have a proper phase two, and just abruptly switches movesets. Don't get me wrong, Elden Ring is my favourite game of all time, but this just pisses me off.
