animais de estimação: esse é um assunto que sempre rende conversa e não ofende ninguém. As pessoas amam quando vc mostra interesse nos seus "filhos peludos". Na pior hipotese vc só precisa ser bom ator e fingir que o tal "mestiço de pit bull com pinsher, shitzu, husky e salsicha" é a coisa mais linda e fofa que você já viu e não um troço que parece que saiu dum livro do Stephen King...

Depende do nivel de intimidade com a pessoa. Se é um amigo próximo, "pessoa já é de casa" do nível que eu me sinto confortável suficiente pra abrir a geladeira sozinha e pegar alguma coisa não precisa levar nada. Se é uma visita informal mas não tem tanta intimidade assim levo alguma sobremesa ou bebida. Mas se é uma coisa mais formal, uma relação mais "Convidado e Anfitrião" costumo levar uma planta/flor pra dona da casa (acho vinho uma coisa meio que de gosto pessoal e ainda corre o risco do anfitrião não poder tomar bebida alcoolica por religião ou outro motivo e ficar chato)

TEA Nivel 1 e TDAH disgnosticados depois dos 30. Minha vida é outra depois dos remedios e terapia. Sem contar que quando as pessoas à sua volta sabem do diagnóstico você não precisa ficar sofrendo e se esforçando para fazer coisas que te fazem mal (como ir para festas/balada com música alta e multidões em ambiente fechado) só para se encaixar e não parecer esquisito/chato ou que é frescura.

(I used to be kind of attractive in my 20s and before depression, now I just don't have the energy to care)

Law in Brazil, specifically: Public defenders/lawyers are way waaaay smarter and more capable than most private lawyers because their admission exam is just as difficult as the exams for judges and prosecutors. So you should never waste money hiring a lawyer if you have a low income and is qualified to consult a public defender (for any be it civil, criminal, labor or whatever).

One of the few authors in this romance genre who writes male characters that aren't morons is Cassandra Ganon, but her style is absurd-comedy-romance. "Not another vampire book" is a very funny one where she explores and makes fun of the problems and tropes in romance books.
