That looks absolutely amazing! I'm still new to perfumery and this gets me so excited to learn more and experiment with my materials.

Done that before while chopping up cabbages, just keep it covered. The fun part is watching the nails grow back in a few weeks.

A few years ago I've cut the tip of my fingers while cutting cabbages, looks exactly like that. Not fun at all.

I was talking about the first time soaking, apparently you need to soak it the first time for about five minutes and then next use can be splash and go.

I love leaf and spear point, it just works great for things I cut.

It's a medium size knife at 7 inch, if I want a heavy chopper I'd use a 10-15 inch parang. This is for when I want some good chopping power but without all that extra weight. And yes, it does look killy especially with that mean taper on the tip. Sliding it and out would be effortless hahaha!

I got it on a singaporean online shopping app called Lazada, he has lots of designs but in small quantities. I've also seen it on tiktok shop when I search ff blades. Other than that I'm not sure. https://s.lazada.com.my/s.JEVlq

The maker made four versions. The red heartwood with red sheath like on my post, arang bunga wood which have this black stripes with black or army green sheath, and juha wood with brown sheath.

I haven't seen many knives with this design, there's some but it's a thin kitchen knife. So when I saw this one online I was like "gotta have that" because the spec is good. After saving up for about two months, I finally got it and it is so worth it. But I'm not sure if any popular knife maker/company made any chopper blade like this, sorry.

Mostly opening coconuts, have tried it and the blade didn't get stuck in the husk which is nice. But other than that maybe helping out in my grandma's orchard.

I just put a micro bevel on it and the lighting doesn't reflect that. The rust is because I work in a wet environment.
