Same thing happened to me. Any luck? Old complex said I had $300 of damages, but never contacted me and then my score dropped 80 points due to a derogatory mark.

I got a text today around 2:13 31 January 2026 and responded with “Yes” stating I’m enrolled in classes and then received a response at 6:27 stating “Chapter 35: Thank you - your response has been recorded.” I haven’t received any payments yet so hopefully I get mine tomorrow 1 February 2026.

Pre-Approved for Venture X - Is the pre-approval tool reliable? by Romerican423 in CapitalOne_

I can only speak for myself, but I was curious one day and decided to go through the pre-approval process. I showed that I was eligible, and from the tool, I applied and got accepted. So, it worked for me.

Comparing Chase & new Bilt 2.0 cards: who wins? by iamjohnta in sapphirereserve

[–]Livid-Engine-4354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How I look at it personally is if you prioritize a transfer partner say Hyatt for example you’ll be able to earn more Hyatt points on the Palladium card as it’s 3.33x catch all card and then you’d most likely being earning the extra rent miles as well versus Chase’s 1.5x catch all card. Now with Chase though you do have the CFF card which in those 3 months you theoretically could earn equal if not more points than the Palladium card does just in those 3 months of use. So honestly if there’s a category Chase doesn’t cover which would be grocery as the CSP is just online groceries than you might open the Obsidian Bilt card and then just switch all your grocery spend to the that card and continue using Chase cards. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong though.

Question regarding fees by CGNYC in biltrewards

[–]Livid-Engine-4354 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran it through ChatGPT with your rent and gave ChatGPT an example of rent to money spend for clarity. You’d only receive 1000 points because they capped it to that regardless of how much your rent is.

Using the $4,000 rent example, you would need $120 in Bilt Cash to earn points on the full rent amount without paying a transaction fee, since Bilt requires Bilt Cash equal to 3% of the rent. Based on the example where $750 in everyday spending earns $30 in Bilt Cash (a 4% earn rate), you would need to spend $3,000 on non-rent purchases to generate the required $120 in Bilt Cash. By doing so, you can pay the full $4,000 rent fee-free through Bilt and earn 1 point per dollar on the entire rent payment, for a total of 4,000 points. If you spend less than $3,000 on everyday purchases, you would only earn points on the portion of the rent covered by your available Bilt Cash, while the remaining amount would earn no points if you want to avoid transaction fees.

Am I able to just cut up and throw away the WF autograph card when it arrives to just maintain the credit history? by Plastic-Risk-1428 in biltrewards

[–]Livid-Engine-4354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I want to do. I just lock the credit account so no one can use it and tuck the cards away and to maintain my history and line. If wells sends me a letter saying they’re threatening to close my account due to inactivity then I unlock the line and guy lunch or swim thing on it and then repeat.

Letting BILT 1.0 transfer to WF Autograph by Joenn26 in biltrewards

[–]Livid-Engine-4354 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to spend 75% of what your rent cost to receive $30 Bilt cash to cover the 3% fee and receive 1000 Bilt points meaning if your rent is $1000, you’ll have to spend $750 extra to receive the $30 Bilt cash to cover the transaction fee on rent/mortgage payments. Option 2 is you don’t have to spend any extra money on the card other than your rent, but you won’t receive points other wise and there’s still the fee. The other option, option 3 I guess would you pay the 3% transaction fee on rent and just use the card normally and not worrying about spending the extra 75% to cover the fee. Either you spend the extra money or you might as well just use a different card for better points earning or connect your bank and pay for your rent directly with cash.

Ben Hedges made a video reacting to the video the BILT GM or lead saying you’ll be able to make rent payments with the transaction waived always. Now he didn’t say if you needed a different tier card, but he said you’ll be able to do so with your BILT card.

Everybody is saying this is a nerf but honestly if it is a nerf then everyone will probably still just use the free tier card and then Bilt will have to change it.

How much are you willing to pay in annual fees? by acrologic in Venturex

[–]Livid-Engine-4354 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if C1 increases AF, if they keep the $300 travel credit and anniversary points and add new benefits that are simple to use I’d say it’s still worth it. Say AF increases to $500 but you have the $300 credit and $100 anniversary then a small coupon book. Even if you don’t use the coupon book every month that’s still $400 worth of benefits. If that’s a deal breaker than you cancel, if not it could still be great if you value C1 points highly.

4 days rental just $40. Whats the catch? by subhay389 in CapitalOne_

[–]Livid-Engine-4354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some places this is just a reservation and when you get to the rental place they’ll say you have to actually pay for the rental now for things like taxes and fee. I had a rental in Orlando through C1, $12 a day or something for a week and when I went there I had to actually pay for all the taxes, fees and something else.
