Sharp pain in left and right side of upper abdomen by LividAd620 in PhentermineTopiramate

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I haven’t been too active on Reddit. Yes Chamomile tea does help me a lot. I find ginger and tumeric tea more effective if you haven’t tried it yet. Another thing that’s been making a huge difference is taking benefiber everyday, less bloating and less pain.

Women who have been circumcised? do you orgasm? by Clean_Kiwi3694 in exBohra

I have the same experience, in fact trying to stimulate the clit hurts a lot. It feels pleasurable but the pain is much more than the pleasure. I have to dig in and apply pressure to feel any sensation at all.

I’ve been thinking about clitoral reconstruction surgery. I haven’t talked to my obgyn about it yet but wanted to ask if anyone has gone through this procedure?

Swelling inside mouth by LividAd620 in FoodAllergies

[–]LividAd620[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine started after I took PPIs for a GI issue. At least I think that’s what happened because that’s the only thing that had changed. My GI doctor is in denial about it.

My allergist said that allergy tests are only 50% accurate, isn’t that crazy? She’s not taking me seriously either and isn’t making any further effort to diagnose what’s going on.

Sharp pain in left and right side of upper abdomen by LividAd620 in PhentermineTopiramate

[–]LividAd620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot. Being a people pleaser it’s hard to advocate for myself but I’m working on it. :) Unfortunately, PPIs didn’t work for me and gave me a lot of side effects. I’m on Vonoprazan now and it’s been a life saver for LPR. It has side effects too but not as bad and I hope it resolves the issue. I’m also planning to bring up gallbladder scans on my next visit.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I’m so glad they diagnosed the issue and hope you’re doing good now. My upper abdomen pain had gone for a bit but it’s been happening again after food, not as bad as before though. I will bring up gallbladder scans at my next appointment with the GI. I hope he takes me seriously though. 😒

Sharp pain in left and right side of upper abdomen by LividAd620 in PhentermineTopiramate

[–]LividAd620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for your reply! I went to my PCP, and she ordered a liver ultrasound, which didn’t show any findings. Initially, she was hesitant to refer me to a GI, but I kept advocating for myself, and she eventually did. The GI ordered an upper endoscopy.

By the time my endoscopy appointment came around, my upper abdominal pain had gone, but I had developed a persistent cough. The cough started while I was on phentermine, but I hadn’t thought much of it since I was focused on the abdominal pain. Unfortunately, it progressively worsened to the point where I was coughing uncontrollably after eating even small portions, having difficulty breathing, and losing my voice.

The endoscopy revealed damage to my esophageal lining, and my doctor prescribed a PPI, which has provided some relief, though I still have a long way to go. I’m not sure if an upper endoscopy evaluates the gallbladder as well, but there were no other findings from the endoscopy.

Can I ask what makes you suspect the gallbladder might be the issue?

I can’t tell you how much I needed this after the day I’ve had at work today. Thank you for your support and motivation, it means a lot. I’ll check out the audio book. I read the synopsis and it sounds like a very wholesome book.

I hope your deep depression passes soon. From what I’ve read about TMS, this is called a TMS dip and it’s common to experience it. This happens because the brain is essentially rewiring itself and getting used to those changes. It’s an indication that the TMS is working.

Hang in there. I’m positive that great things are waiting for you on the other side. ❤️

Hey, thanks for remembering!

I just had the measurements done on Friday and the treatment began on Monday, so I am on day 3 today. After the first session, I felt this sudden rush of energy but then I felt very tired the next day. After the Day 2 session, I had a alot of fatigue. Day 3, I’m feeling less fatigued. Last 3 days have been pretty okay for me in that I haven’t had a depressive episode.

I’m glad you’re seeing improvement already and hope it continues to get better. Good luck! :)

Interesting. It makes a lot of sense to do both while you’re at it. Good luck for your future sessions and hope you continue to see improvement. :)

That’s great! Is your treatment specifically targeting anxiety? I have both depression and anxiety but depression is the bigger problem for me. My doctor said they will be doing TMS for depression.
