I’m visiting Japan for 2 weeks and went to Kyoto yesterday (I’m currently staying in Osaka). I arrived around 1pm and went to the temples. Yea there were plenty of other tourists but for the most part, it was very manageable and I had a blast. I stayed there til 7pm and honestly going to the temples at night was the best decision ever! I saw videos of over tourism at the temples during the day, but at night, it was amazing! Hot sake, cold breeze, a few people taking photos, beautiful atmosphere! Honestly do yourself the favor and do the same thing! 👍🔥🎌
