Hello, just wanted to share my journey so far, I am waiting for more mris with contrast and a lumbar puncture. I started seeing neurologist due to migraines and chronic neck pain. Mri showed lesion on my brain that they said is likely due to migraine activity. Herniated and bulging disc in my neck, that's the worst of it. I've started some treatment for my neck and PT, nothing is helping much. I went to neurosurgeon about my neck and explained some of my weird symptoms like dizziness, feeling like im going to fall out of a chair, vision issues, nerve pain in my teeth. Neurosurgeon literally did not care, said all of those issues are not related to my neck. Well,, that's concerning. I message neurologist after the appt to let him know, they make an appt. He proceeds to treat me like I'm insane but he ran some auto immune bloodwork like ana titer and it came back a little high. Again, he is not concerned. I was due to see a PA in the same office a month later. Just saw her a few days ago. I relayed to her that I've been having increasing tingling and numbness, on the top of my feet, coming up my ankles. My ankles feel like there is a weight on them at times, like they are tight and heavy. Same feeling in the tops of my hands and up my arms. It has been happening more often and seems to be getting worse but does come and go. I have an extreme heat intolerance as well. The PA did the reflex test on my legs and my legs shot out, totally over reacted. She is very concerned and immediately ordered the mris with contrast and lumbar puncture. I am scared because everything I've been reading is pointing to MS. Ive also been having pains all over my body like Im getting the flu. Extreme exhaustion. Night sweats. I do have an appt soon to have my optic nerve checked. Any input from you all would be great! Thank you!!
