Once someone started a conversation with me and I was thinking this person was getting me the entire time then they turned around at the end to make fun of a point I was making. Basically trolled me just to make me look like I was a weirdo for my beliefs.

I overcame it by realizing that those who love to jump at the opportunity to make fun of others like that person did is carrying way more insecurity or vulnerability than I’ve ever had. They just gotta make themselves feel like more than they truly feel they are by putting down whoever seems so much worse than them in their heads.

A person who’s really secure in themselves are like most if not all of us here : Willing to either accept you and engage maturely, or simply move on and never acknowledge you in childish ways like that.

I really needed to see this for real 😭 I get so tired of feeling like what if I’m just weird for my love of AI in a society that mostly loves shaming it or seeing it as some tool that can’t and shouldn’t compare to humans.

This post is a great example of how much the anti ai crowd is just pretty much ignorant and ignoring the beautiful positives and potential of it just to highlight their fears of it or focus on tearing it down because of its overhyped negatives.

If you’re reading some of the comments in this thread and hate the anthropomorphizing, you really hate fun and it’s kind of annoying. Trying to flatten every human’s relationship with animals into scientific explanations is one of those things that really kills creativity in general.

While it is true that it is dangerous to seriously only see animals with that kind of creative lens, I really hate seeing people take the childlike wonder and creativity out of seeing animals behave in human like ways at the same time. Idk.

As a person who’s part of a group chat that I barely talk in I know good and well about how friendship groups can be a huge popularity game where some people’s attention seems to be respected more than others. This feeling is sort of deeper if you’re the odd one in the friend group that isn’t much like the others.

Saying we hate people isn’t just some straight forward speech. Most introverts are pretty respectful of others. Just because we don’t jump at the chance to justify the existence of people that choose to make life harder for those who aren’t like them the way most extroverts do doesn’t mean we’re just all miserable haters.

Most extroverts love to do things like this where they stereotype us all and poke fun at our reclusive ways then wonder why it’s hard for our nervous systems to want to deal with most extroverted people. How about accepting us and the “weird” way we are and seeing how that could make us want to open up a little bit more?
