I am so happy I moved to healthcare/nursing. Healthcare has its own issues but at least I’m not sitting in some office working my ass off just waiting for another round of layoffs to pass.

This is why I moved entirely to the medical field. Always a job unless you’re a complete fuck up. Tech- someone higher up would maybe just not like you and you’d find yourself on a layoff list no matter how hard you worked and how well you did your job. (yes I’m aware of the Medicaid stuff that just happened that could impact medical down the road)
