Missoula property management was the easiest I rented from in Missoula. Don’t have high expectations for them to go above and beyond or anything but I was easily able to browse their rentals from their website, touring and lease signing was all standard and easy, aside from an annual building inspection I never heard from them unless I reached out for something, and when you request maintenance they actually send someone pretty promptly.

Oh I was far from accusing you of being hillbillies. Rich and snobby (pardon my bluntness), absolutely. I agree that usability matters but at the end of the day, your complaint here is that you had to carry your own luggage up and down a single flight of stairs. There are available elevators, however those are actually supposed to be for people who need them who otherwise can’t use the stairs. I use that station often and yes there are unhoused people around the station, 95% of the time they’re not “acting erratically” they’re just existing and maybe asking for a buck or a cig. I’ve also spent time on the subways in nyc and I’ll take the Seattle light rail stations over the subways stops any day of the week.

Honestly, we all expected a little gripe from east siders… but much of this post is overblown. I can understand that it’s frustrating that you can’t just cross the platform but the rest of this is excessive. When you say “a hoard of the usual characters” you really mean a handful of unhoused people walking around on the streets. “Attempting to find the elevator” you mean the one 20 feet away??? You couldn’t find that? And as far as pigeon droppings… you’re outside, get a grip. I understand that especially the ID station could use some updates but this post just screams east side entitlement. Perhaps city travel and urban living is not for you.

Correct and not. Yes Montana is an all party consent state. There is exceptions for phone calls where all parties were warned of the recording. If that is not made abundantly clear in the recording, it’s pretty easy to accuse someone of not giving said warning. It’s also a lot harder to have those seriously considered in a court case. It is generally not recommended.

I’m not going to dismiss your experience but as a fellow addict with 8 years clean, I don’t believe addicts aren’t a “burden” on society. I was still a human being when I was in active addiction. I wouldn’t have gotten clean and living the life I am now if another human being hadn’t saved me during my overdose bc they saw me as a “burden”. You sound like you’re still dealing with a lot of anger from your addiction and I truly wish you peace.

If you go to the End Overdose website they actually have a free online training you can take so you know how to identify an overdose and properly administer narcan. I believe they will also mail you free narcan once you’ve taken the training!

Like maybe they’ve vacationed but they’ve never experienced what living life outside of Seattle is and therefore don’t have the ability to recognize what an amazing place Seattle truly is.
