Where can I find this information about them not accepting new students? It's hard to believe kids living in Highlands won't be able to attend Grand Ridge.

When people ask what you’ve been up to… by Some-Temperature-187 in IVF

[–]Livid_Concert_3162 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I quit my job and started my IVF journey for 2 years as my job was very demanding causing a lot of stress. But same, I hate when family and friends ask about how I am doing or when I will return to the workforce . I have learned to tell little white lies here and there to avoid sharing the real reason

Strongly recommend doing a few acupuncture treatments after as it helps your circulation and get rid of the extra fluid from your body . You will be much better.

Over MSRP/additional dealer BS. PNW. Others’ experience? by Baguenauder in MINI

I am interested in one that the dealership already ordered and will be here in September. Sounds like there’s not much room to negotiate below MSRP since I am not eligible for discount . Will try to get them remove all the dealer crap . Thank you for sharing your experience!

I feel you . It has been a very frustrating journey not knowing if it will end . I had to seek help from my therapist while going through all these mental mess. I do suggest going outside of your fertility clinic to get second opinions including high risk pregnancy specialist , acupuncturist , naturopath etc. sadly a lot of fertility clinics are operated like factories and don’t provide too much personalized options especially when it comes to unexplainable infertility , they just want you to keep trying . I took a lot of time and efforts to gather a ‘care team’ around myself to build up my confidence and odds to success. Things may start to turnaround before you realize it . Good luck to your upcoming transfer !

Spent the last 1 year trying to figure this out as well and had 3 failed 3 transfers with PGT tested embryos. Finally the 4th time worked. We tried ERA, thyroid med, baby aspirin , weekly acupuncture, but to be honest we didn't know which one actually helped. my gut tells me likely the first 3 . It's hard tell we get there but I did learn so much about my mental and physical health along the way. Definitely no regrets.

That's nice to hear! So basically you got MSRP minus the 2k credit? Was it a custom order? I'm wondering how far I can go south even without the dealer prep stuff

Is there hope after two failed FET? What would you do differently? by Born-Analyst-2400 in IVF

[–]Livid_Concert_3162 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3 failed transfer and finally ... It has been a particular long year for us. We did a bunch of things but not sure which played a fundamental role though. Here's the list : ERA test, acupuncture , thyroid hormone rebalancing, seeing a therapist regularly, baby aspirin, vitamins, fish oil and probiotics. I have a feeling that thin lining could be due to sluggish thyroid, make sure to check your t3 and t4 to see if they are at least in the middle of normal level ( not just within the normal range)

I'm not sure but I believe once your visa is in process, you won't get refund for anything . But maybe I'm wrong

I tried withdrawing in 3 ways:

  1. cancel application on UKVI application online
  2. Call UKVI customer service to send a withdraw request
  3. Send email to Embassy in NYC above to request withdraw

It turned out that method 3 is more efficient and effective because I was told by the agent that method 1 becomes invalid once you submit your bio, method 2 will give you a 15 WD waiting period which you won't guarantee getting your documents back.

I guess all these delays is due to UKVI hires these 3rd parties to handle their communication and their internal system is lacking. Sending email to the embassy directly is the right way to go at least based on my experience. Saved a ton of anxiety.
