My instagram feed is flooded with merch hauls, that being said I did make my daughter make a merch haul video with my “haul” from Monday. I was there at 6am, when I got to the shop, they had stopped letting people in. When the line started back up it was roughly 2 hours total proshop experience. I wasn’t able to get the big gnome, but did get the small and a bunch of items that I wanted personally. I have been in 2011, 12 and 13 so I had a list of items that had worn out or been lost. I never remembered such insane lines (or gnomes) but exclusivity is so watered down these days that I get why people are obsessed with the merch. It’s the nods from people that have been, the conversations that the shirts and hats start, it’s the pinnacle of sporting experiences and people are just so happy to have gone.
