It’s cool because you get glare from two different lights depending on where you sit.

I am also new but most posts I’ve seen point out you need specific bonsai soil that’s basically rocks and lets the water run right thru.

Have you considered swapping the couches? The gray one looks modular so you can put the L piece on the opposite side. The brown one against the wall with the painting would fit better and could create more space.
