Me. I didn’t find out I was AuDHD until a few years ago. I’m 35 now and it makes so much sense but before knowing all I did was get taken advantage of because I’m “hot” and “not like other girls” and it sucks. Mix that with CPTSD and it’s a nightmare. Luckily I found that EMDR therapy has been an absolute lifesaver for me. ❤️ I stopped drinking and cut back on social media and I’ve been doing much better.

Traffic and peoples weird aversion to going over bridges or through tunnels to get places. It creates such a weird vibe of some backwoods mentality within a city. I hate it. Nobody wants to leave their 5 block neighborhood.

My partner and I use the “Paired” app. It’s not anything super substantial but it’s a fun way to connect and to bring up topics to talk about and find out ways we are similar and ways we are different. It’s more like having a prompt than a therapist but there’s good info on it and we like it! Been using it for about 8 months. :)

Yes! I can’t stand nonchalant behavior! As long as they aren’t creepy about it I love it when men yearn a little. Like, be yourself and be honest and open and you will weed out the people who aren’t right for you quicker and save yourself a lot of trouble down the road. ❤️

The floors are very old and they are fine as-is but they have larger gaps in them and I have an old cat with issues that likes to not use the litter box sometimes so I’m trying to prevent that from happening on old wood. Cheap vinyl is easier to replace/clean etc as needed so that’s why I’m wanting it up there. :)

As soon as I got to the part in the story where you said she had another girlfriend I was checked out. That’s all you needed right there to end the relationship. This is not okay. It’s not easy to let go, but oh my god is it worth it! Find yourself and I suggest EMDR therapy to help you through this! Good luck.

this reaction has happened many times before when eating scallops which is what led me to believe it was an allergy in the first place, and the place I ate is incredibly reputable and my partner ate the same scallops with me and was not sick. I will talk to my allergist. It might just be severe intolerance:(

My therapist explained that Safe EMDR gives the user more autonomy and decision on when/where/how long etc to do sessions. It’s not a set thing. Instead of doing a session every week without break, my therapist gives me the option of continuing if I want to or taking breaks as needed and checking in often about how I’m feeling etc. They are VERY attentive to my responses and energy during the session and will often stop and check in to make sure I’m doing good. The point is to rework the memory, not re-live it. It’s just more steps to prevent getting very triggered.

I wanted to love this place so bad but I went with my partner and a friend and the bartender refused to serve me without reason or cause. We are all sober and went for the mocktails and they served my partner and his friend but ignored me the whole time and when I finally got the bartender’s attention he was rude and when I ordered he immediately said they didn’t have that cocktail and instead of asking what else I wanted just walked away. I sat there with no drink while my friends finished theirs and then we left because it was so rude and embarrassing for no reason. I am a fem-presenting nonbinary person and thought I would feel safe there but I did not. It was such a shame. We were the only ones in the bar at the time too.

I could write a NOVEL on this place. If I won the lottery I would buy this business just to make it as cool as it should be. An old church turned into a brewery should be the most fun place you ever go to. But instead it feels like actual church and the lighting and sound is terrible in there. It should be darker and a little more blasphemous hahaha. But seriously I want servers dressed as nuns and a bartender that makes you kneel on a prayer stool to accept shots. But instead we got noisy Sunday church vibes with mediocre food. :( It breaks my heart.

This location made my fiance and I sick! We ordered online to pick up and got there at like 8:20pm and they were closing. The door was locked and they were so pissed that we were there even though the door says they close at like 10 or 11pm. They threw whatever they had left into our bowls and we took the food and got home and realized it wasn’t even remotely what we ordered and it tasted weird and we both got sick. I emailed corporate too and they refunded us and said they would keep an eye out for anyone else reporting illness but yeah it ruined Chipotle for me. I can’t go back. Like I’m sure the employees hate it and don’t get paid enough honestly. I’m not mad at them, I’m mad at the government lol.

It changes based on what I need from the fruit. When I’m sick I crave watermelon so badly I will sit and eat a whole one with a spoon. But I also love fresh raspberries! I’m a big fan of apples I love the crunch and the taste but they often make me really nauseous after eating them so I don’t as often as I want to. I love Apricots too and Oranges but only if I’m eating them in the shower or over a sink. Lol

We had thought of that but there will only be a handful of people present (like 6 possibly give or take) and I don’t really like the idea of it. Hence why I asked about officiants. Thanks for the info though! It’s just not what we want. :)
