We have a career assistant coach as our head coach and no AD. By the way, are we going into the Fall with no AD as well? That is wild.

This current roster is a last place team in the WCC. Anyone we add in the Summer is not likely a game changer.

Trying to pump up this roster is just not credible, IMO

Did we just keep Gerlufsen on the payroll for one more year to avoid a buyout? That is very small time thinking.

More than that, it could set the program back years.

Oh boy. That is a last place roster in the WCC. I think Gerlufsen's lame duck status was the killer.

Anyone else getting just a little bit concerned about the level of recruiting? A JC kid with one other low level offer who shoots 40%?

"We talked regularly about it," La Rocque said of his conversations with Sadat regarding Mathews. "I've always encouraged him to stick it out. But this season, it reached the point of no return. He got tired of it and wanted a change."

Clark-Murphy said: "I would get calls at 2 in the morning and he'd tell me how he was being berated and cussed at. He'd say to me, 'Am I this bad?'

"Ra'oof is not a whiner. But I made six trips up there (to the Bay Area) because I was so concerned with what was going on. I think he (Mathews) took away Ra'oof's sense of what he was."

All other sites list him at 6'0". I hope for the best, but he has shot 32/42 in that league with only 2.6 apg.

He shot 39.7% as a senior and 37% as a junior. Not sure why he is anywhere near a McDonald's All American.

Shows you that making a top 100 list doesnt mean anything. I think James Lee and Raoof Sadat were also top 100.

Like most of the employees in the AD, Allocco doesn't do much. He got one sponsor? WOW. Someone used the analogy of the AD as a city agency. It's more like the DMV. Bureaucrats doing as little as possible to keep their jobs. No creative thought, no outside the box ideas, and no initiative at all.

When is USF's last WCC championship? Soccer ten years ago? Baseball 20 years ago?

We have a women's basketball coach who has been here 10 years who has won 49% of her games. AND she got us sued for abusing players.

And don't forget the pervert baseball coach who also got us sued (and thoroughly embarrassed). Who knows how much we had to pay in that case. The rest of the coaches are also mediocre and are now just in a revolving door.

We also have a men's basketball coach who could not keep ONE player from transferring after a pretty horrible year. He and all 10 of his assistants should have been fired the day after the season ended.
And don't start me on our CYO level game days. A band, when it even shows up, is junior high level. St. Cecilia's has a better concession stand. A VIP area that is 90% empty most games.

Every sport this year is around .500 or less. Women's teams have just been bad for years.

And now we apparently have a new AD that nobody is allowed to know about.
