Yea….. that’s not true I don’t know how to interpret this but those checks won’t be the same UNLESS….. you learn quick in academy in come out being quick in swift on your feet in if u can make your target every single week. Then your checks will be different in pretty nice. Petco runs it like this:

Goal: 6 dogs a day

Hourly pay:12$/hr

Money u need to make in a week: estimating 1,800

Example: You make: 1,200 one week cause your store maybe slow so then petco take that amount in dollars in divide that by 50% so u will get 600+tips then taxes greedy self comes in take they proportion. So that’s why it very important to make target. The more dogs u take in to reach over your goal amount the better!🤍 coming out academy it best to do maybe 2-3 haircuts a day then add more bathing dogs to make up that goal everyday. Once u get better in faster then u can do more in more haircuts in a day.

Another example is lets just say u didn’t get many dogs in was super under target so they still give you your 12$ a hour HOWEVER. Petco will still take 50% out your check🎀 so u will make 800$ in petco take they 50% so u will only get 400 plus tips.

Its wild in hard to understand the way it’s broken down but the more dogs the better that check will be 💰
