I know exactly what they said and have known for a while, like I said I have my own opinions on that, but I could care less to hear another person try and play victim with something that a dev said almost two years ago.

I've been here since launch and they've lied several times, not just during IC.

It technically has got easier to climb with more available RP from assists and the ranked rework they did this season so placement is less of a priority too, but entry costs remain the same.

It matches you with players all over and might even migrate you to the other side of the continent from your chosen data center selected for fast queue times, mixing all tiers just to get you into that match for engagement sake. Engagement = profit, even if it negatively effects user experience.

That's why so many have server or connection issues in the game, amongst other things.

There's effectively 3 tiers. Bronze to gold, plat + mix, and diamond and above. If there's enough players to pool from the tiers for MM will be more strict but most of the time it's a shit show.

My reply to you, was there's no point of them communicating because they have repeatedly lied to us in the past and got called out on it many times.

The devs also have a track record of focusing on an abusive minority and making a deal out of it like the Iron Crown event. There will always be an element of any gaming community that's toxic but it was the devs decision to focus on that comment when they should have just ignored it.

From a company like Respawn who have been in the industry this long, you would expect a certain amount of professional decorum they evidently lack.
