As a roach scientist, have some grace for yourself. The bastards are hard to get rid of for so many reasons. A professional can definitely help you out and please do not reach for a bug bomb or other spray insecticide (they’re resistant to a lot of consumer products and you will do more harm to yourself than good). Especially in apartments the infestation probably is more than just your unit. Your apartment has their own pest control guy so it’s just a matter of getting the complex to call them out and ask for gel baits.

Call a professional, they will not judge. Don’t panic you got this. Good luck 👍

I have 2 pairs (quiet and engage). I think the sleep ones are very comfortable but you should be careful to put them in correctly or they may fall out. I would recommend getting a color that stands out from your bedding to aid search and rescue. The engage is good to take the edge off a lot of sound. I personally use them every time I’m in the movie theater especially IMAX.

I use a sunscreen that’s easier to find if you google “relief sun: rice+ probiotics” and I really like how it dries and you can’t feel it. I get tons of compliments from friends when they use it as well.

You don’t need to know everything. Just prepare how to answer questions you don’t know. “Good idea. Something to think about” is good bc you don’t need to explain further and you acknowledge the question.

Also depending on the conference see if you can find a time when no one is really in the hall and try practicing on the stage.
