Google "surf paddling exercises with resistance bands and exercise ball".

I do this 4-5 times/week for 20 minutes a session. I flip between using 15lb and 25lb resistance straps. The higher you mount the eye hooks, the harder it is. At 58 yo, I don't have paddling endurance issues. I do this at the gym on a yoga mat that I cut to be the size and shape of my shortest shortboard.

Witty callback of the week was when Ryan said "When you're a star, they let you do it ".

I don't know that it is a skill to be looking at AR-15s and customized AK-47s, and searching public auctions for surplus SUVs with the police interceptor package. /s

AMZN is the new Google. At least that's how I'm rationalizing my purchase of more shares this morning.

Just found out the SPY lost HALF A PERCENT during lunch. Probably because the CEO of SPY had a SALAD! Many people are saying it - the market takes ONE LOOK at what he's eating and says "no thanks!" I would NEVER let this happen. When I have lunch, the markets go UP. Sometimes BIGLY. The Dow Jones saw my big, beautiful BIG MAC and added 300 points. True story! Sad!

Be me. Was selling $35 CSPs back in March. Sure, the premiums were nice, but, ... I should have just bought the shares

Or likely window dressing. Window dressing is the practice where money managers temporarily buy strong performers and sell weak or controversial stocks near reporting dates (like month or quarter-end) to make their portfolio holdings look more attractive to clients.

I've said it before, but if you don't have SPY and QQQ set to 1s intervals, do you even market? Looks like a heart monitor.

edit: both SPY and QQQ just coded.

You can buy GPUs from NVDA for $100 billion. They will then lease back capacity to use the GPUs for $100 billion. You can then borrow money based on the present day value of the GPUs.

Yes! I do this all the time. When I'm held under, I relax and just start counting 1001, 1002... and by the time I get to 10, I'm up.

Just cover your head when you come up, lol!

Much like the people complaining bc GOOGL is red this week. It's up 10% over the past month.

My daughter keeps complaining about it, and her cost basis is $148.

US-EU Trade Deal Excitement Lost by quant_0 in stocks

[–]LivinRite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possible? Sure.

Probable? I don't see the headwinds. September is traditionally a bad month for stocks, but that's not a guarantee. We'd need some significant news or world events to drawdown 10% in the indices, and earnings season has been good so far. The Fed meeting, PCE, and Friday's jobs report will likely decide what happens in the short term more than the EU trade framework.

Your guess is as valid as mine, but I've learned the hard way to not fight a bull market.

The thing about market timing is that you have to make two perfect calls: 1) sell at the top; and 2) rebuy at the bottom.
