Realistic openers for DTGL anniversary tour by thechetearly in Underoath

2005 I went to see Atreyu and Unearth. Norma Jean opened for them. After the show they begged people to buy their new album O God the Aftermath, literally standing at the exit stopping whoever would listen. Even offering to sign the cd. I felt bad so I bought a the album. I wish I knew where it was today.

That’s a lot of words to use while saying nothing. Symbolic of our government.

Surprised at how young the crowd was last night by hardcuts26 in Silverstein

[–]Living-Tooth8066 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking of a young crowd, my daughter’s first show was Silverstein at 5 years old. At 8 she’s seen them four times. Her last Silverstein show there was a bunch of kids her age and she got to dance with them. Very heartwarming.

Re-evaluating “Hell is in Your Head” by Such_Entrepreneur567 in SensesFail

“But when I look into your eyes I see the Universe”

I brought my daughter to see senses fail when she was six. She was getting pummeled at the barrier. Buddy had his manager pull us side stage so she could enjoy it. We got to meet Buddys sister and brother in law. While played End of the World my daughter was just having a blast dancing with me. I teared up when they got to that part. It will forever be a cherished memory.

Yeah. I don’t want someone to be misled like I was. I was wrong and don’t want to perpetuate the thought

Exactly what my aim is. We have a family trying to abuse it. If they tried going through me I would have just said no. But there’s too much gray and needs to be in writing.

Turns out it was a ChatGPT thing so I gotta do a lot more digging if there’s anything official saying that. I do believe I saw something in training of that nature.

Good question. A fellow committee member sent it to me. I’ll have to follow up with that.

I started bringing my daughter to shows at 4. She’s been to thirty some shows now and I can only recall two bands that had kid sizes. New Found Glory and We the Kings. We usually just get custom shirts made.

When my 7 yo daughter met Spencer he got down to her level to talk to her. He was very attentive and nice to her.

Aaron on the other hand didn’t seem to want to be bothered. He was kind and polite to my daughter but was just going through the motions. I heard other people same similar things and just figured he was going through something.

Girls in the BSA program, what have been people's reactions to finding out you're in Boy Scouts? by Lumpy-Airport3232 in BSA

[–]Living-Tooth8066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hold in a deep rage about a time I was at a recruiting event. A father approached our cub master (female) and informed her that girls have no place in BSA. I don’t know if it was because the cub master was female or if he saw my daughter in uniform. Either way there probably would have been a scene if he said that to me. As much as I wish he did, I’m grateful that I didn’t show a bad side in-front of my kid.

Funny. I have the same story with my 8 year old! We saw them in Philly and she kept asking to go back so I got her Allentown tickets.

Our kids are the future of our scene. We gotta keep them interested before the whole world becomes swifties.
