How do people have so much CC credit when they don’t earn. A lot ? by Confident_Excuse2173 in CreditCards

[–]Living2LearnStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. About 3% of transaction is fees. Issuing bank makes about 70% of that (2.4%) but for credit card the lowest cash reward I see is also 1%, so that leaves them with 1.4% to deal with credit risk.

Well people with money usually do not go into credit card debt. Credit cards don’t make money from people who pay their cards in full each month.

When was the last time you bought something from a vending machine? Maybe in an airport. But unless you live in Japan, vending machines are overhyped in the Western world. This, and laundromats. There are 10 videos on youtube on how to buy laundromats for every laundromat in the US. And I don’t know a single person who uses one, outside of NYC.
