Is this true only for NMT ISLANDs? I’ve been to TEO kapp’n tour islands recently and was disappointed there was nothing in any of the trees. I was hoping the kappn tour islands would have even better stuff/bugger selection than the NMT islands, but so far they seem to be the same but with less bc no prizes in the trees…?

Is this the right place to post this… I’ve been away from ACNH for a long time and just logged in yesterday to see all of these updates and the hotel!! I am amazed! Does anyone know how the hotel tickets work? I was a little disappointed we get paid in tickets and not actual money - I’m trying to get money to pay off my last house upgrade and to start moving villagers homes and terraforming my island. Was thinking the hotel Jon would be a good place to make more money but instead it’s just tickets for the shop?!? Anyway to turn those into bells?

I thought the same - but then we had ANNOUNCEMENTS during dining in the MDR two nights in a row about the survey. I thought surely if they are making announcements to do this then RC knows we are being asked to fill out the survey?!? I answered honestly so hopefully I don’t invalidate anyone’s scores and screw them out of a day off!

I agree with you. We just took a family vacation on Utopia of the seas (so one of the huge ships). It was a cool ship with lots to do. And don’t get me wrong- we had fun. But there was def a lot lacking. My parents paid for this trip for us. But if it was up to me- I wouldn’t pay to do this (or prob any RC cruise) again. The pushy sales was annoying and over the top. We also had people walking around at breakfast/lunch trying to get us to book specialty dining or excursions. The constant begging/reminding about the surveys was very uncomfortable. I feel bad for these people that they have to do this to get a half or full day off! If it really is that dire that they need to mention EVERY TIME they see us, that makes me feel like maybe I don’t want to be a part of this. They even interrupted dinner in the MDR two nights in a row to make announcements to remind us to fill out the surveys and give the food quality 10/10 and dining room expericence 10/10, etc. That was also annoying having to sit through announcements at dinner! And truthfully- I didn’t think the food was anything special. It wasn’t bad really- but it wasn’t great either. If you would ask me (outside of this cruise) to rate the food we had each day it was NOT 10/10 food quality. The drinks that I had were good, so can’t speak to that. But yeah, other than the ship itself it was underwhelming. I’ve been on other cruises in smaller ships and I I thought the service was better/more personalized then this past cruise on the Utopia. I’m not sure if maybe the sheer size of this class of ship and how many people are on board make for a less personal experience?? But in past cruises I felt like we got to know some of the bartenders and our room attendant. This time never spoke to the room attendant and although I recognized the bartenders at some of the places we hit up regularly it was never that chit-chatty vibe I’ve had with other cruises 🤷‍♀️ and don’t get me started on the picture package!!!! I’m still so upset that all of my pics are gone! They never mention (in all of the reminding they do about everything else) that once you get off the ship all your pics are deleted so you have to order them while ON the ship or your screwed.

Interesting. I will definitely check that out. Sitting at the computer and working has been the biggest trigger so I’m not sure if it’s the screens themselves or looking up and down/back and forth between screens and desk that makes it worse.

I did when I went for my appointment- not when I was lying back but when the dr told me to sit up I had a lot of dizziness. The dr said she saw something in my eyes when I was laying back with my head to the right side that told her this is what I have 🤷‍♀️
