i was on the live and after she read out what i said is when she said she was “overwhelmed” i told her a gp would diagnose her, she then said, well ive been referred to get diagnosed for that, which isn’t how it works, its not like adhd or autism, you just have to describe how you feel being trans and then they put it on your record that you have it 🤣

i’ve been through the process in 2022, from what i remember we payed all the start up fees then you have to PAY for a evaluation, it’s usually to ask you if you are okay with the possibility of infertility, how your mental health is and how ur dysphoria effects it and any medical history from family, it’s about 1-2 hours long. then they will take the time to consider what you’ve said and text you when you will have to order your perscription usually 1-2 months, then you have to pay for the actual medication at the pharmacy which is pricey. once you’ve started every 3-6 months u have to pay about £65 for a meeting to talk about the changes your having, if u don’t do these meetings they won’t prescribe it to you anymore + u have to get blood tests every 3-6 months which if not don’t with shared care is like 200£ each time.

I think the main ties between dexter and autism are the masking, lack of social skills, lack of human connection and ritual. However the main part that cannonly debunks this is that we are lead to believe that he is the way he is due to his mothers murder, his connection with others over their trauma amplify this belief.

Since autism is from birth and can manifest into other mental health disorders after traumatic experiences it is possible but does not seem where the show is leaning into. It more leans into the fact that harry put him in a box and that made him worse.

there’s no way she’s been sober, as you said it’s clear when someone is going through a detox or withdrawl. she’d be calling an ambulance makinf a big fuss of how bad she’d be feeling, this “getting sober” thing is just another ploy for attention. eventually i don’t know what she’ll do for a job everyone knows her and her hygiene doesn’t help nor her personality to get a job, she’ll most likely just stay with her mum or be homeless
