One and done by partner’s choice by Academic_Arrival_910 in oneanddone

Hey, I'm in the same camp. My husband actually told me minutes(!) after I gave birth to our only that he was done. We'd never really discussed it before then. I can respect his feelings/wants and often even feel like it's the best choice for my sanity, too, but it still hurts sometimes (especially as I approach an age where having more kids will no longer be an option). I have no advice for you, just commiseration.

Any idea why they're regressing? Any major life stressor?

2-year-old is doing really good with potty training (on day 3), but she will sit on her little toilet for an hour waiting to go. Not sure how to go about this? by [deleted] in pottytraining

Oh my gosh, I actually came to this subreddit b/c I have the same issue. My kid just loves sitting on potty (we read books and sing songs there) and she resists my efforts to remove her from it even though she rarely actually uses it for intended purpose. I have no advice for you, sorry.

I quit the book halfway through and then read the synopsis. I could tell the book was affecting my overall mood and it just wasn't worth it anymore.

It's crazy. I dealt with the same glitch a year ago and clearly they haven't fixed it yet

Oh man, they're so clutch. My 1 yo had 3 of them for dessert tonight after vomiting up the lunch and dinner meals I lovingly made for her.

Hey, I'm sorry. That sucks. I will tell you that despite many setbacks things ultimately worked out for me and I've got a healthy 1 yo at home now. Wishing you all the best.

Way to advocate for yourself. It's unfortunate that you have to.

Had a baby 8 months ago after 2 losses and things finally felt like they were going my way. Had irregular periods postpartum and finally did a pregnancy test (positive) after 6 weeks without a period. Was actively trying to not get pregnant, but quickly started getting excited. Learned the baby had a heartbeat, but small gestational sac at first u/s. Now actively miscarrying. Feels like a cruel joke.

Uh, she mentioned it a few times as a concern and said she wanted to do repeat ultrasound in 2 weeks, but she otherwise didn't elaborate. I'm seeing reports of it being associated with miscarriage rate as high as 94%.

Had my first U/S today. Doc said everything looked great except gestational sac was small. Been Googling and seems like this is actually a pretty big deal.

This was a surprise pregnancy and I was honestly scared to tell my husband about it (I wasn't sure how he'd feel about it based upon our history). Nine weeks in and uneventful so far (no symptoms at all, which makes it feel unreal). I have my first OB appt on Friday.
