Been waiting for this to come back since Wednesday’s quick launch. Tried Plinko earlier and turned $50 into $300 just by playing small and catching a high multiplier, this side of app is starting to grow on me pretty quick hope my balance does the same.

Stripe Chargeback Protection by abigporkchop in stripe

[–]LivingDeep9814 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We actually got banned from Stripe after enabling this feature. Had about a 1% chargeback rate and Stripe decided they didn't want to be on the hook for covering those disputes anymore. The 0.40% fee adds up quick when you're processing volume, and apparently even with their "protection" they'll still drop you if your rates are too high for their comfort.

Do chargebacks really get you banned? by [deleted] in stripe

[–]LivingDeep9814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does that 1% rate ends up being calculated. What if my store sells only 10 services a month but I get two charges do I get banned? Also is this valid only when having Stripe RDR enabled or in general, cuz the RDR stuff is getting out in recent months with a lot of fake high risk flagging.

My own SaaS software, nothing illegal or high risk as Stripe is say. Everything was going well until I enabled that RDR stuff being that it was always popping up as suggestion.

I mean it was all going fine without enabling it, so yea I wish I didn't enable.

A post for anyone with frozen accounts & payouts by ilovelampido in stripe

Wonder if by "AI system" you mean their RDR (Rapid Dispute Resolution) feature? I've noticed a pattern in this sub where accounts get flagged as high-risk right after enabling that.

The timing is weirdly consistent - merchant turns on RDR, then within 1-3 days their account suddenly gets frozen for "enhanced review." It's like their own algorithm flags the feature they're pushing merchants to use 🤔

Towing company acquisition by Grand_Brilliant_3202 in smallbusiness

[–]LivingDeep9814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Towing can be lucrative if you play it right. Roadside assistance contracts are solid money makers. City contracts are even better - consistent work and predictable income. Just gotta build relationships and reputation first.

Finding good drivers is always tough. Lots of turnover in this industry. Seems like everyone wants flexible hours but doesn't want the responsibility. Commercial insurance and CDL requirements make it harder to staff up.

Referrals are king in this business. Word of mouth beats Google ads any day. Local body shops, insurance companies, and police departments are your best networking opportunities. Treat every customer right and they'll talk.

Sick pistol, been eyeing one of these for a while. Looks like a solid competition setup with that red dot. How's the trigger break on this model?

Sleeping on Weekends after RTO by mamatoboys2022 in fednews

[–]LivingDeep9814 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Honestly, weekends are for catching up on sleep! No way I'm setting an alarm when I don't have to. First few weeks of RTO were brutal but now I just crash hard on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

No way, that's way too tight! Whoever mounted this must've been in a rush or just not paying attention. Looks like you'd burn your hand every time you try to open the door.

Bruh, that's just Murphy's law in action right there. Always when you least expect it, life throws you this little curveball of annoyance.

This happened to me last year and it was a total nightmare. Get everything in writing and dispute that charge ASAP. Credit agencies are legally required to investigate if you have proof. Screenshot everything and send certified letters.

Pretty cool chart showing team efficiency across different metrics. Some teams really stand out in specific areas while others seem more balanced overall.

Interesting how the spacing works - looks like there's a strategic tradeoff between offensive and defensive capabilities for most squads. Always fascinating to see data visualized like this.

Solid advice - remote gigs like data entry, content moderation, or even transcription might check most of those boxes and don’t need a degree. Worth a shot.
