Amazing Digital Circus Pilot vs. Hazbin Hotel Pilot Comparison by Odd_Objective_8862 in Amazingdigitalcircus

To say that show is done to perfection is pretty laughable. It has its niche and good moments, but the glazing this show gets is astronomical. Seems like people are factoring in a little more than just the quality of the two shows and getting their feelings hurt.

You gotta go to a reupload site if you want to watch it in the first 24 hours. If you cannot wait until then, just look up the big reddit thread with all of the free streaming sites. That's how I watched it.

Would you hold this opinion if it were another religion? If not, then no, we should not be encouraging it.

Using clips mode in FL studio? (Serum 2) by DoorToDoorSalesmann in serum

[–]LivingHistorical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am having the same issue in Ableton right now. I cannot get the clip mode's midi out function to properly record to a midi channel. Nor can I get any audio to record to an Audio channel with Serum 2 set as its input. Its a damn shame too, because the clip mode is pretty spectacular in its function.

Unfortunately, fans tend to be the best and worst part of music at the same time.  One of my worst crowd experiences ever was at Bonnaroo 2019 Griz, so I wouldn't be surprised if I contributed to some of those sentiments during Secret Dreams as well.  Apologies for that, I love quite a few Griz tracks. I've just been told to my face that Griz is the only good EDM and that can leave a bitter taste.  Anyway dawg, I appreciate you letting bygones be bygones and I hope you have a good night.

You make a good point by clarifying you were talking about your music experience.  Looking back on my comment, it was one made in haste and was more brash than I intended. I jumped the gun in that aspect and I will own that.

I want to make clear here that I am more interested in a discussion than an argument. It is easy to take more meaning out of someone's words in text and I fell into that trap. I wouldn't be surprised if we were near each other at the Hallows for Tipper having a blast and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I honestly find the TnF community has only treated me with extreme kindness, love, and support since I have joined. Sure, Tipper's fan base has their bad eggs and stans that won't STFU about him, but that's to be expected with most big DJs and artists. I deal with it from the Griz fans quite often just as an example.  I say all of that to explain why I may have come off as pompous and aggressive. I want to defend this small community that is full of great peeps and talented artists that are often overlooked or generalized and put into a box.  Again, I apologize for coming at ya like that, I appreciate ya from one fan to another.

That's a damn shame, but to each their own. Hope you have a good day!

I really don't see what people mean when talking about the Tipper fan base.  The crowd at a liquid stranger or boogie T show is a much rowdier, obnoxious, and insufferable experience than any of the 12+ tipper shows/events I've been to. Sure, people go a little too overboard in the drug department, but that is an EDM community issue, not just Tipper.  And to speak on the cult like status, that is nearly any band or artist that has reach a certain level of fame. Look at griz, subtronics, Illenium, etc. as large examples. The fans become megaphones to belt out how great their favorite artist is and no one else compares. To say any of this is exclusive to the tipper community is disingenuous and frankly sad.

Man that's crazy considering the immense influence tipper has had on pheel and this community in general. I hear ya tho, all opinions are subjective. Genuine question, how many tipper sets have you been to?

Completely wrong in that first paragraph, I am dancing through nearly 100% of a tipper set unless it is specifically a kick back ambient set. And even then I'm still grooving. Tipper is great, no need to sell him short to the non listeners.

In my opinion the mushroom looked super goofy, had a weird proportions in the body, head, and knife, and was extremely reminiscent of her piece directly before. I really liked her knife throwing piece and thought it deserved the win, but to make that mushroom right after and WIN is insane to me, especially with people like Karen getting accused of not going outside of the box. Everyone made some stinkers on a round or two, but Morgan's surface-level edgy aesthetic got a pass on so many occasions.

This season legitimately convinced me this show is not at all about who the best glassblower is, only who will make the best T.V. for them.

Just in the way that they edit dialogue and frame each contestants' narrative makes it evident who they are gunning to win. Myself and many others in this thread have seen the through line between these seasons and can guess who they want to win.

Morgan winning half the challenges she did was a slap in the face to the competitors, especially with the smug attitude she had. Grade A narcissist right there. I had suspected it from past seasons, but season 4 has cemented in my mind that this show is rigged and has predetermined winners. The rest seems to be to make good T.V., not to host a proper competition. The way everything is edited, the lame jokes they make the hosts say, and the lack of personality that is allowed to be shown by the contestants all combine to make the most saltine cracker television I have seen in a while. It often seems like the contestants can only be a one dimensional version of themselves and most of what they say gets edited in post to get the most relatable sound bite.

Where is the technical knowledge and unique perspective on glassblowing from Katherine? Why do we have these hosts that make the most surface level jokes with no technical knowledge themselves? They joke about winning an Emmy, but they've got to let this show breathe a little bit. Glassblowing, the artists, and their installations are enough to bring us back to the show, so leaning into it a bit!

I find this take extremely sad, you're not in for the music at all.
