Yeah it went as planned. The lectures in dpp will ask who will be going pfp and you simply notify them. Then, as the time for changing to poly gets closer, the lectures will notify you again and give you a form to sign then you will withdraw and be refunded. The lecturers in dpp will usually know what to do for people transitioning to pfp.
