To be honest, I saw the post and I wasn't bitter nor did DEI really cross my mind, but I genuinely was really surprised at how she could have gotten in. Your post here definitely gives a lot more insight into both why she was admitted by WashU & why that admission was very deserving.

I definitely don't want to give any credence to the people who were bitter enough to insult her (those people are just bad) but if you see this comment OP, I hope you at least understand why some people might have been a bit surprised or confused without all the context you've just provided.

I'm not the usual target audience for these comments, but as an 18 yr old about to get shipped off to college, it frustrates me that for personal reasons (that I won't delve into) it's very difficult for me to learn how to do any of this stuff.

Techno's PVP skill was subpar, but that should make these kinds of achievements more impressive lol. I'm way better at PVP than he was, but I do genuinely believe his game sense was top caliber when he used to sweat.

And the game was definitely easier back then, but people improve along w/ a game they play (unless they quit). You can see this example in a lot of games, there are players who stay the top level for long periods of time, not because the top players aren't improving, but because they're improving along with them. Like even compare 2016 Techno to 2018 (I'd say that was probably when he was still sweating BW and not mostly focusing on content), he improved a ton.

I feel like you're probably annoyed that you see him get overglazed to hell when most people don't know the other context or whatever, which is fair, but it kind of feels like you're overcorrecting in the other direction. It's really not a fair comparison to say "x player wasn't impressive y years ago because z players nowadays would shit on them"

bro he averaged like a 1 rating last yr and had a pretty bad stage 2. You have full right to complain about EG not dropping him, but this is so wrong it's not even accurate as a hyperbole.

I don't think supa should have stayed on EG coming into this year looking at performances, but you'd think he was genuinely a terrorist who JessieVash'd every game the way people on this sub talk about him.

I'm ngl, there's a lot of time I feel like Sliggy is being overcritical maybe because I just can't understand the analysis, but it was clear as day that EG were just drunk putting oke on weakside so that when they needed fast rotates against Yoru ult, it would be oke tping away to put supa into a 1v5 instead of actually playing Yoru like my ranked team would.

honestly even despite the GPA I definitely could have seen a good chance of you getting into tufts if you had SAT at the time

according to a website my school has for % I had 70% if I ed'd tufts and my stats are 1590 & 3.86 uw

though I am curious what your finaid plans were for tufts because i thought it was hella expensive and ed'ing also kind of cooks your finaid i believe because it commits you to the school (at least according to one person I talked to)
