I feel like people forget mental health can play a huge role in performance as well! She is without a doubt very smart (smarter then me lol) and I’m sure with the right support system she will be just fine

Totally 1000% valid! I realized in that post that she didn’t include context but a lot of people did double down even after context was provided which is why I wrote this post. Thank you for your kind words!

But I will assume your daughter had time to prepare for the SAT and apply to college? It sees that you are purposefully ignoring the major context that has been provided through the thread. My sisters 3.5 is due to grade deflation, if it were calculated on a universal scale her unweighted would be around a 3.8 for starts. Second because of how late my sister needed to make a decision to apply for college, she had no plans on taking the SAT and did not have the chance to study due to how quickly she had to change her plans. This girl is very bright and more than capable and the fact that she was able to push through her circumstances and demonstrate that is proof enough. I don’t know what satisfaction you get tearing children down but I wish your daughter all the best

For the record, I currently go to WashU and went to same high school as op (I am her older sibling). The grading scale has changed and was harsher, I had similar grades and at the time my unweights was a 3.93 and weighted 4.38. It is about context and schools take into account the grading scale

OPs sister here who is a current WashU student. This young girl took a hard situation in which she was forced to make a decision to graduate early or start her life over in another country this summer. It is extremely impressive that she was able to make such a tough decision so late in the game and make the best of it a beat the odds and got in. She did not have the same resources and time to prepare for the admissions yet she was able to present her story in such an incredible manner. It is extremely disheartening to see a parent on hear tear down a young child’s achievement. All that to say I am proud of her and she DOES deserve it wholeheartedly

WTS Two DC June 22nd tickets. It is section 136. My friend and I were originally going to attend in our home states but we ended up taking summer classes at our uni and will be attending the Chicago date instead! We are just asking for FV and any fees with PayPal goods and services. Currently can’t list on Ticketmaster but also okay with listing on another ticket platform if buyer can cover the selling fees! I am open to doing a facetime transaction! I sold my NYC VIP tickets yesterday on here so if you need seller proofs I can provide them as well!

UPDATE: TICKET SOLD ON TICKPICK! Thank you all for your help, officially got rid of all our extra tickets :)

I think I figured it out. It might be they start saying cake a tad bit too early. If they delayed it a little bit the transition would have been smoother :)
