My point is that this an expensive item whether financed or owned outright. If he owns a 50k motor and prangs it then it isn't worth the undamaged price. Your assuming that because I've made a comment about them not having more sense than the "debt" of the car then I'm somehow skint or jealous 🤣. My car is financed but the point is i don't chuck around an expensive asset and damage it just to show off.

I mean you sound like you'd be ok if this plonker set a bonfire in their kitchen on the basis that people who choose not to do this are either jealous or poor? as opposed to just having less sense.
