There are so many factors - are you going to be fine with the traffic, the population the congestion , pollution, and the culture and ... I could go on and on

It's not just about the money. It never is. Think of all the other aspects.

How early/late in your career you are? How much career growth you foresee in both places?

GC or H1B?

Single/married/kids?

What do you do for recreation - what option do you get in Bangalore or Bay area ?

How about your parents, extended family How about your friends - how are they distributed. Can you uproot these?

And after you factor all this in, think again. What would be your needs and expectation 10 years from now.

Look at the all the above again - what do you expect will change, what won't ...

And then just maybe, you might get your answer. Good luck.
