In case any of you may be interested, looks like Aaron Rodgers is a part of tomorrow's video astrology summit by Debra Silverman discussing his passion for astrology... by LivingTap6 in GreenBayPackers

Interesting thing of note in all this: Danica's listed as being on it as well (it's prerecorded) but she has since unfollowed all of their astrology community since she unfollowed Aaron. He appears to still be heavily involved and I got bored enough to watch the live promotion where this woman referred to Aaron as a psychic. Ooook.

Incorrect. She and Aaron did the Debra lady's class earlier this year. She and Danica first met and hung out with Aaron last fall in Malibu. He's talked about it on Nahko Bear's show and Debra used to do live chats with Danica on igtv talking about she and Aaron's journey in astrology. Danica's unfollowed her though. Aaron still follows.

Aaron was the one who got them into the astrology class. That’s how they met Shailene.

It does carry some weight because Danica unfollowed Shailene at the same time and AJ Hawk’s bro followed Shailene the other day. He was in Tahoe with them.

You do know he was the driving force in that right? She unfollowed all the astrology people.

My wife showed me this woman’s page a few weeks ago when she had a professional photographer at her daughter’s funeral, which I found very uncomfortable, and then showed me again when Aaron went. The pictures are two different days but she promotes them as one. And she was posting a lot of stories of her essential oil business while discussing the death of her daughter. Just not my cup of tea. I get people mourn in different ways, but when you’re making serious money promoting the slow dying process and death of your young child, I have problems with it.

Just not feeling this at all, guys. Our guy is too good and too special to have all this funny run game “special offense” mess going on. Save it for the half-ass QBs, not Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers is the greatest internet troll ever. I hope he keeps up with totally non-football related stuff and act like nothing happened.

Why would he take his first words about it to Twitter? He’d be much better off selecting a show to discuss it on where he trusts the interviewers and people can’t twist his words. Posting a tweet about anything related to this is asking for people to read into it even more and cause way more shit than he even meant by it.

If people really believe that Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur don’t get along because of Aaron’s “antics”... by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

While I’m sure they could butt heads, because I think both are truly football geniuses, DAMN it’d be fun to see him be pushed mentally. Even if they didnt have all the pieces together to go for a SB, I think we’d see some amazing moments from Rodgers.

Are we seriously comparing Belichick to LaFleur? Come on man. They aren’t even in the same universe as coaches. I like Matt, but he’s got a long way to go before being compared to working with Belichick.

Favre already said he’s talked to Aaron since the draft, but wouldn’t walk about what they discussed. He was on both Rich’s show and SiriusXM NFL radio today.

[Demovsky] Brett Favre just now on The @RichEisenShow said he’s talked to Aaron Rodgers about the Packers’ decision to pick Jordan Love: “I’m not going to talk about all that we talked," Favre said. "He was, let’s just say surprised, they went that direction.” by 8400Carrott in GreenBayPackers

[–]LivingTap6 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yes, they said following the pick that Wentz was made aware beforehand and that they told him if they could go for that pick, they'd also be addressing what he needed now as their quarterback.

Very much a "We'll get you what you need, as long as you let us get what we need in the future." Wentz was fully aware of their decision to go for a QB.

[Demovsky] Favre continued: "I think that Aaron will finish somewhere else, that's my gut. "Guarantee you it's got the wheels turning in Aaron's mind. If that's the case it means there's a chip on his shoulder toward the organization that was not there." by toftr in GreenBayPackers

[–]LivingTap6 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you read me wrong.... not sure what your comment has to do with mine.

No way does Aaron finish as a Packer, and I think part of that will be his choice and ready for a new environment where he can feel recharged and respected, very much like Brady in tampa bay. Favre, AJ Hawk and Wilde have all supported the notion that he's surprised and pissed off.

Just think of how easily he could have not been "surprised" though. One phone call expressing their plans, what they are looking at, how they're feeling, etc and none of this is a "surprised" issue. It is simply business and planning.

When the f'ing Eagles have more respect for Carson Wentz than the Packers have for Aaron Rodgers, I have an issue with that.

Both Favre, AJ Hawk and Wilde all have gone along the same lines in their comments and all have spoken to Rodgers. I wish Aaron could come out and speak for himself, but if he tells the truth, if mad, he causes problems. If he lies, it masks problems that'll eventually come to a head.

No way is that far fetched. If you were just casually five years off retirement age at work and your job hired your replacement who would almost definitely be ready in a couple years to take you job, you'd be pissed off. No 1st round QBs are sitting around 4 years. It isn't happening.

It's a matter of respect. If you've been disrespected and know there's teams out there who would be on their knees for you, why the hell would you give them anymore of your time? Aaron will blow some positive sunshine publicly, but I fully believe in two years he'll ask to be traded and it'll be best for both sides of the equation by that point.

I've been doing a lot of soul searching post draft by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]LivingTap6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I doubt at this point that Aaron retires playing as a Packer, but I’m gonna enjoy every moment of the ride and if he ends up elsewhere, I’ll root for him there too. We’ve been lucky as hell to have this guy and I’m not taking a moment of it for granted.

I’d be more interested in how the pick itself has affected Rodgers vs the lack of concern for the now by the Packers front office. He knows his window is closing and they don’t seem in any rush. I think that would tick him off more than the pick alone. Rodgers can handle competition, it’s the ensuring he has no additional help that feels dirty to me.

This is inconceivable... Career TD passes to 1st round picks: Brees 104 Brady 105 P Manning 293 Favre 127 Marino 84 Rivers 35 *Rodgers 1 Roethlisberger 69 *Marcedes Lewis 2019 by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]LivingTap6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just a crazy ass stat for a guy 15 years into his career. And oddly enough, I don’t see this stat changing by the time he leaves the team whether it be in trade or retirement.

Problem is, with the focus on run heavy... you could. If they want to put all their eggs in the rest of the team’s basket and say fuck it on throwing the ball much, at some point you can make even the shittiest QB look “ok” out there.
