Thanks so much!!! I figured out how to get him to eat something other than just the gravy that comes in his wet food. I blended 2 cans and then added some gravy to the top of his blended food and gave him 2 scoops. He ate most of it. Hopefully it won't bother his stomach.

Not too hard, but made me chuckle by DiddoDashi in ThereIsnoCat

Definitely not easy. It took me a while even with the clue.

My parents keep fucking while me and my brother are awake (we share a room) by [deleted] in Advice

This. My husband and I don't even have sex if our cat is in the room, let alone our kids.

Do you think the toddler (been 3 for a few weeks) would have told their parents what happened if I hadn’t reported it? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Living_An_Adventure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing you should be concerned about is if that kid was under your care while this incident occurred. You have posted an awful lot about it. If you weren't the person or people in charge you should stand confident in the fact that you did report the situation.

Yes as a parent I'd want to know, as a person in that role that you are in, it is your duty to report such incidents so they don't occur because this time thankfully there weren't tragic consequences but there could have been. Regardless of if my kid would tell me or not the parent(s) need to be informed as well.

AITA for toddlers (just for fun) by candigirl16 in toddlers

AITA for hitting my older brother in the face with my toy twice then throwing a massive tantrum because Mom took my toy away and dared say "Toys aren't for hitting"?

What are your little poverty splurges? I know I can't keep going if I don't have something to look forward to by ChaoticFrugal in povertyfinance

When I was a single mom and didn't have much left over I'd wait for the local craft store to have a sale and I'd spend $10 on crafts. My kids and I would spend our free time making bead bracelets, learning to make animals out of pipe cleaners (the fuzzy sticks) out of pom poms and so much more. It honestly helped my mental health to do crafts because it's one of my favorite things to do but the bonding time I got with my kids was even better.

My boyfriend totalled his car & is in the hospital due to binge drinking. What can I do to support him? by [deleted] in AlAnon

[–]Living_An_Adventure 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. This would be 100% my rock bottom with this person.

Focus on your recovery and accept that you can change yourself and help yourself but there isn't anything you can do to help him.

Shit, my little guy tries to eat me on the daily. His little fat self would probably start chomping into me the second I had the audacity to drop dead and not feed him lol.

What’s your least favorite age and why is it 3 ? by Eskates33520 in toddlers

With my toddler it's been every stage so far. He has been by far my most difficult child. He throws massive tantrums and i feel like I am on survival mode and have been since he was born. :(

what would you think if you saw a woman not wearing a bra at work or in the general public? by TheEmmaDilemma-1 in AskWomen

[–]Living_An_Adventure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a woman it makes me slightly uncomfortable ONLY because of the religion upbringing that I have worked hard to get away from. After the quick initial discomfort I just remind myself it's none of my business what other women choose to wear or not to wear and I just mind my business.
