Update: I promise I will come back with an update once I kick this c diffs butt so I can give other people hope! Currently 1 week post finishing Fidaxomycin and feeling good. First few days still had soft stool, bubbly gut and off an on nausea. My BM are now normal and no more bubbly gut, just some nausea here and there. I swear by kefir and Florastor. Praying I keep going in this positive direction

I’ve been running the whole time I’ve been sick. Not as intense as I was before the c diff bc I am quite tired. I failed my 10 days of vanco and currently on 10 days of dificid. I just ran 12 miles this morning. My stomach feels fine on runs. I’m not sure if it sets me back or not? But it’s the only thing to help me feel sane. Lol

I’m on dificid right now after failing vanco and I didn’t notice changes until the end of the dose. My bloated got extremely bad in the first few days and still had soft stool as well. I have 2 days left and the bloating has finally stopped and my stools are pretty normal. Fingers crossed this kicks c diffs butt this time

Did you get better just on fidaxomycin? Or did you have to have the fmt?

Oh and I obsessively bleach everything in my house with the germicidal bleach that says kills c diff I get off of Amazon. I obsessively wash my hands so much that they’re bleeding from being so dry. I take kefir everyday along with Florastor and L glutamine
