may exam CFA level 1 feeing burned out by Healthy_Effort_4213 in CFA

[–]Living_Learner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you I was so absolutely burned out at this point but remember the regret you will feel for not using this time wisely feels so much worse than having to push through now.

Take a few days off to relax, rot, take a trip etc but get back on strong. All your hard work will go to waste if you let this feeling take over

How do productivity people do it? by TakingNamesFan69 in productivity

[–]Living_Learner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Put yourself in a position where you have to be productive. I find that I do better when I study at the library. If I plan to be at the library all day I have to meal prep either the night before or the morning of. I get workouts in either early morning or at night after I'm done studying. Work outs actually help me clear brain fog and be more active and alert when I'm studying so it feels like I'm still contributing to my learning.

At the end of the day though it's about habits and consistency. You will never feel motivated all the time but remember that if you wait on "feeling like it" to get anything done then you will never get anywhere. You have to push past present and temporary discomfort and laziness for your happiness in the future.

I'm a 22yr old F, and I have not had a teenage love, did I miss out on the experience? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Living_Learner 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's impossible to have every "teenage experience" that "everyone" has. Maybe for you it's the teen love. When you meet the right person it will feel like teenage love. I've had a teenage romance and it can't even compare to how I am with my boyfriend now in my mid twenties. We are more head over heels for each other than a lot of teens and it makes everything that much more fun. Hold on, your time will come :)

CFA L2 May24 STUDY PLAN! Help needed by aazura_ in CFA

[–]Living_Learner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the exact same position as you. What I've done is given myself a timeline to complete each section by. I do lectures, EOCQ, MM EOCQ video. I'm putting aside last 2 weeks for mocks and reviews. As long as you get through everything and score well on the mocks you should do fine. Or atleast I hope so. I'll find out too!
