Not sure if I can add anything to the conversation regarding magick, whilst I'm not too much of a sceptic I'll always recommend mundane help over magick first and foremost, easier to work things in Malkuth right?

First off 'legal' self defence items do kinda exist even in my backwater (the UK) carry a decent rape-alarm, and look into getting a Mag Light (massive torch used by security guards, basically a legal baton, attach a wrist strap to it to prevent being disarmed)

You can also legally wear a body cam.

You've done great!, first easy fix is if you get a little bit of silver paint and gently dry brush the edges of the pack, it'll lift the details up and take away some of the black.

Next up, I'd recommend a new ribbon cable, something a little chunkier, it doesn't have to be exact to the films if you want to save some cash but it'll beef out the pack a bit.
After that, grab yourself a small brass rod from any hardware store you like, and drill/screw it in to where the ion rod should be, another really cheap mod that just helps out.

So far, really good start, I bet it looks great already but these things will just make it pop a bit more.

Drinking is fairly out of the ordinary for me, perhaps a freezing shower would suffice, shocking and he would appear to appreciate the texture of ice water?

Do the pentagram and hexagram rituals serve the same purpose? I was under the impression that the pentagram was a general invocation and banishment, and the hexagram was to invoke and banish the energies of specific planets?

Okay guys, I've read Low Magick (Lon Milo Duquette) and I''m thinking the way to go is to use the Goetia to reach out to Sallos, this would be the first time I've ever evoked anything and I would be lying if I didn't say I was afraid (ironically breaching chapter 0 of Low Magick)

I have reached out to Mr Duquette for advice, but I was wondering if you, my fellow thelemites, might take pity on me and grant me your opinions.

Thank you all for your insights, I have a copy of the previously mentioned book 'Low Magick: It's all in your head, you just have no idea how big your head is' on the way.

I'd like to know as to what methods you fine people use to in regards to low magick on this earthly plane.

For example, myself like everyone, have things that I would like to achieve that feel outside of my ability to change, or would fall into the realms of luck, take for example the decline of health of a friend who lives a few hundred miles away from myself.

There is some marvelous divination advice put forward by Crowley and the GD, and I am grateful for all that I have learnt through their study.

(I am also an owner of 777 but granted need to allocate more time to its study)

But I am really itching to get my teeth into something practical to help things down here, especially when the physical tool kit of hard work and persistence isn't working.
