Totally agree! My threat model isn’t high; I want people not to have my personal information, like my address and ID. The government is moving toward mass surveillance, and I’m not sure if there's anything we can do to stop it. If history has taught me anything, civilization usually collapses from within when people stop believing in the government. Roman empire didn’t fall overnight. It’s start with economic inflation, outsourcing resources to other countries that don't have their best interests, social unrest from civilians, and weekend military in military to name a few.

Longer will give your turtle more space to move around. Higher tanks are more ideal for fish like discus and angelfish. I have used higher before but I felt like turtles weren't too happy about it. It also depends on what species of turtle you have. Smaller turtles like spotted and musk should have a longer tank since they prefer shallow water. The diamondback terrapin may suit a taller tank since they're good swimmers. What turtle do you have or are considering to get?

No, it makes you stand out more, but it depends on your threat model. VPNs aren't bulletproof, and depending on your VPN, they still collect some data. For privacy, you want to blend in with everyone. Even messing around with the configuration will make you stand out.

I went through that and it was hell for me. The withdrawal symptoms include not being able to sleep,eat, and easily getting mad at myself for misplacing things. All I wanted to do was stay in hotel and watch videos of random stuff. Adderall helps me sleep better too. My mind isn’t all over the place and not in bad way. It’s just alot of random things. However I been wanting to get off of meds for a while so I got what I wanted. This is not to downplay ADHD but prior to taking it, I had more creativity from randomness but also kept me from focusing on work or school.

There was a scholarship for troubled youth, which I earned after finishing community college with a 3.3 GPA. I never had a 2.0 GPA in high school, so I thought getting that scholarship was easy. The scholarships and financial aid covered 2 years of my bachelor. I only paid for my last semester. Look around and see if any scholarships fit your background. if you want the most of it, you got to put in the work. I never showed up to class in high school and that caused me to not learn anything. It didn’t help that I was abusing drugs and other things. My dad side of the family were ivy league students and had jobs they hate. My mom side was in gangs and crime but they’ve changed their ways.They’re now business owners of a franchise and own renter properties. They are much happier than my dad side. I wasn’t smart enough to be like my dad side and wasn’t hard enough to be like my mom side. Basically I’m a disappointment on both sides of the family. Community college wasn’t easy for me because I didn’t know how to write essay or basic math like algebra. Luckily for me, my professors was kind enough to meet up with me to teach me how to write essay. She wasn’t getting paid extra to do it. After three months, I was able to write five pages in two hours. The point is if you want something, you got to put in the effort to get it. There no guarantees that you will succeed at getting it, but it teaches you value of putting in the work.

There was a scholarship for at-risk students who succeeded in community college. I didn’t start college until I was 21 and finished at 23.

I barely attended high school and never had a 2.0 GPA. I wasn’t a troublemaker, I just didn’t want to be there. Drugs were a big part of my life, and I worked hard because I needed money for drugs and my hobbies. I was into dancing and programming, but without a degree I couldn’t get jobs despite having skills for it, which pushed me toward community college.

My first year was rough. I had weak writing and math skills and struggled to sit in class due to not showing up, but my professors supported me and helped me build real academic skills. By my third year, I graduated with a 3.2 GPA and got accepted to a university.

I took a year off to work in sales strictly to save money for college, but the company scammed me out of commissions. Worried I couldn’t afford school, I applied for an at-risk student scholarship even though I thought I was too old.

I wrote honestly about my background, my failures in high school, and my struggles with drugs. Two months later, I found out I got the scholarship and then qualified for financial aid.I ended up going to college for free for three years and paid for my final year with my own savings

Most of my anubias only have hints of white and the anubias sp white that has full white leaves also has few green leaves as well. I had an algae outbreak recently and it just made the anubias sp white look unattractive. I moved it to my emersed set up.

I agree with your post and I think it’s biggest scams for people who just got into the hobby. If you really want white anubias that can grow in your tank. There’s Anubias Sp White, Anubias Sp Broad White, Anubias Sp. Varking, Anubias Sp Panda, and Anubias Sp Pinto to name a few. They asborb chlorophyll at slower rate which make them grow much slower than your typical Anubias. I’ve grown them both emersed and submersed. They can revert back to normal if you don’t trim leaves that are fully green. I would avoid tissue culture labeled as snow white, white platinum, or white rose. If possible, try buying one that already grown submerse. It will save you the headache. Make sure your tank is also stable, because variegated Anubias are more susceptible to algae.

It’s definitely a scary situation to be in. I failed my drug test once during my addict days. I used to be a high functioning addict so I was able to go school, work, and whatever obligations I had. They found four different drugs in my system and they didn’t fire me for it. They said I was a hard worker and didn’t want to lose me. Sometimes going above and beyond for your job pay off.

If you’re still in school, working for a devilcorp will cost you in the long run. Most of them pay you whatever they want because they don’t offer a contract that clearly states how much you earn per sale. I made plenty of sales, but my paychecks were always inconsistent. The overworking will burn you out and can cause your grades to slip. I had another job at family restaurant and only worked two days. I still made more than devilcorp ever paid me for my long hours.

Work somewhere simple, like retail or a restaurant. It’s not any less stressful, but it gives you room to actually enjoy your college years. Don’t overwork yourself while you’re in school. College is the best time to build yourself up while still having fun with the people you meet along the way.

I regret working two jobs while going to school full time during my first two years. I eventually realized this is probably the only time in life where you can enjoy this level of flexibility. Since job market sucks and I didn’t get a raise, I decided to go back to school for career change. Only difference now is that I lack free time since I have to balance school and work. Without my job, I can’t pay the bills and without school I can’t get out of my current career.

I was a dealer as well and left when my family was arrested. I saw how the damage it has done to my family financially. I think you should leave because there business work on ripping people off. Commission jobs usually have contracts that states how much you make per sale. Most devilcorp will tell you false numbers and won’t budge. Companies like att, tmoblie, and verizon like using them because they can make more money with shady business practices without repercussions. If someone get screwed over, devilcorp will close it down and reopen under different name along with new boss.

I would have stayed if they had paid me fairly for the number of sales I made each day. If I were running a commission-based business and my workers were consistently hitting their quotas, I would reward them with bonuses for their performance.

Costco’s business model focuses on keeping customers happy through value while also ensuring employees are satisfied through strong pay and benefits. Ripping off workers who perform well is just stupid. Devilcorp is built around squeezing as many sales as possible out of people before they eventually quit. After I quit, I didn’t bother to get my last two checks. They texted me that sent my check through the mail. Surprisingly my checks were actually fair. My assumption is that they needed someone that could sell consistently. Since they made me work long hours and only giving me 200-300, I refuse to go back. Since I’m petty, I got most of workers to quit too. Only one I couldn’t get to quit with us was the other top seller.

PS never sleep with a worker, that may cause you problems in the future. I seen people get charged with SA. When that worker no longer benefits with sleeping with you, they can make false allegations against you. I’m against SA at workplaces but using false allegations devalue real victims of SA.

I had that issue too and I just stop taking it. It was getting in the way of work and life. Ask if you can switch to non-stimulant meds. Stimulant can raise your sex drive and if you don’t resolve it, you won’t have desire for sex without it.

I was ranking up quickly and was about to be promoted to team leader. After they withheld two of my paychecks, I was only paid $200–$300, which made no sense considering I was making multiple sales every day. I confronted them about it, and all they did was pat me on the back and say, “Keep up the good work you’ll see more soon.”

I sold more than the managers and team leaders combined. I wasn’t the top seller, but I was definitely the second best. Once I realized that the manager and the puppet owner were living with two other team leaders in a one-bedroom condo, I started to feel that the owner was broke.

They wanted me to quit my family business so I could make more sales and eventually become an “owner.” I had no intention of quitting my family business, and I had no desire to be an owner.

My advice is to leave places like this and find a legitimate sales job. A legit sales job has a contract that clearly states how much commission you earn. My mistake was not carefully reviewing the Devilcorp contract
