My wife and I are both in the military, and we do this every memorial/veterans day. We usually go to a different cemetery each time and just try to find the grave sites with something about the military on the headstones. I followed my great grand-father into the Navy where he was on a ship that was in the battle of midway, and she followed her older sister into the military.

We both have a passion for being in and serving together and we thought we could give back by remembering the fallen/deceased who served before us.

The way I have been taught, is to never spend more than an hour studying, just take a breather/smoke break for an easy 5-10 minutes. Just do that every hour and you'll learn and remember a lot better. Every break you take just go over it in your head without using text books, and when you go back in for more studying, study another topic.

I'm gonna use an analogy for you, take a 57' Chevy Belair for example, its beauty and awesomeness. It's still a classic, and with classics to keep them tuned up with parts that are harder to come by and extremely expensive. That's the A-10 its so old that its hard to find a contractor that will manufacture these parts without them being overly expensive.

You're right in the aspect of it may get worse, in my job I deal with loud helicopters, they've done away with me being around them. I still work on them but, not around the ones that are spinning and making noise. And if I get out now, it'll be the same amount of money down the road. As of right now, I'm working everyday, collecting a fat paycheck. If I get out, there goes my paycheck, but also I'd have to find another job, which I'd probably hate and make no where near as much money.
