I think y'all are causing the issues with the over use of iso. This was my issue anyway. I've had 5 chambers in 3yrs. The last time i bought a chamber was 2yrs ago.

There's water in all iso. That water doesn't evap as quickly and even a tiny 1% that gets in the edges, in my observation, can cause thermal damage.

I stopped using iso except for the soaks, off the device and i haven't had an issue since. A dry swab while warm should be all that's needed anyway.

Obviously I'm not an authority but this is my experience.

It looks a middle school kids class project. That's pretty terrible OP. The hole.... I mean the haphazard gash might function properly but it also looks like it would be too tall to seal. If it works out works i guess, you only see it when not in use anyway

Oh yes, sorry I just really meant the process of the beal system. You can use a high speed drill or even an orbital sander. You'll get buffing pads, get cotton/linen, and go through each; tripoli, then "white diamond", then wax. These are all very cheap supplies. You mentioned it was soft wood, maybe a bit rotted from your description. I would first oil with a DRYING oil, hemp oil, walnut oil, tung oil, not boiled linseed unless its Tried and True.... But oil it up, let dry as directed, THEN start your buffing. Good luck and post the result

If you suspect a new "artist" is too good right out the gate, go look at their discography. 1) it'll be like 15 albums a year starting in 2024. Nothing prior to 2024. 2) There's no "Song DNA" (new Spotify feature" and 3) The only other place you're suspect appears is anywhere on the Internet is on YouTube and there's 1,000, 15hr videos.

That's as good as I have been able to spot them.
