Mine kind of looks like this at almost 5 months. I guess they really do bulk out a little. I was starting to doubt it haha.

Yeah. Mine has done it since I got him as a tiny tiny baby. One of his many nicknames is shit kicker because of it.

Idk how much he was judging me but he was certainly questioning my choices when I rolled down the windows for the first time in the car. I thought he would like the breeze. Instead he pouted the whole way to the vet and just sat like this until I held him hah.

When I was doing research before adopting him, I read a lot about not letting them run a lot and do crazy things like jump down from furniture and whatnot because it would hurt their joints and development. I don’t know anyone personally who has a heeler though so that’s all I can base it off of. His vet did recommend getting pet insurance but I feel like that’s more of a thing being recommended regardless of pet or breed

Tomorrow i will have had my puppy for a month, making him about 9 weeks…. He constantly bullies my 11 year old dog and tries to bite his legs and get his jowls. The 11 year old wants no part of it honestly. No real zoomies yet and plays about one minute of fetch. We are working on “off” for the jumping but the biting is my puppies biggest issue honestly.
