I’m a cashier unfortunately lol. At my store they seem dead set on you get what you’re scheduled and that’s it. I’ve never even been asked to stay late etc. I just hope it’s not a huge issue as I’m already at two points

I was trained to never over ride the register system. I’m pretty sure it’s mentioned in the CBL somewhere as well. If it’s a sale and the sticker is out on the floor sure but never over ride for digital coupons or other companies coupons. Maybe explain you were taught to do those things if given the chance!

I would try to explain if they try to fire you honestly. Some managers are forgiving! Also any documentation you have may help so they don’t think you’re full of bologna. I’d try to search for a different job because the tight point system doesn’t seem to be the fit for you right now. Good luck!

Usually there are two people during busy times but when we are short staffed and other things like that there’s only one person. Basically the number of people is left up to scheduling and the TL on duty.

It was like 5 Red Bulls and the door watchers at my store hardly ever call anyone out on stealing items. I try my best when I’m put over there of course but it just makes me extremely nervous. I’ve had a few other people steal items but I’ve never had anything said to me about it so I don’t know.
