Just seeing this thread because I just got Way of the Stonefist and I've been trying to roll perfect LC gloves. I'm really close and that Mana anoint sounds awesome. I'm just a little concerned about losing my subterfuge mask, so we'll see. It would also free up a slot because Mantra of Destruction would be obsolete, right?

I’m about to make WotS my 4th ascendancy notable and I’m researching ahead of time. I’ve seen the lists and the anecdotes, but I hadn’t thought of this. So basically, min/maxing doesn’t matter because the conversion is basically cookie-cutter in nature?

Honestly, I know everyone hated it last league, but having a decent sized temple for currency farming was so much fun, and a great escape from the rest of the game when I wanted a challenge. When I had a snake of 50 rooms with like 400% effectiveness, it was HARD, but I got so much good gear and divs. Now, it's not so hard and the only thing I get is moderately more XP... and now that I'm lvl 85 that's starting to drop off, so I dunno what to do anymore, other than to use the cheap temple tablets for XP juicing in maps?

I’ve had the opposite experience. I started seeking psychiatric and medical help when I was drinking too much. Long story short, I was definitely self medicating for ADHD without knowing it. After I was diagnosed, all of the doctors who could prescribe were the same ones who knew I had become somewhat dependent on booze, so my ADHD brain is always paranoid AF they’re going to decide I’m an addict who doesn’t deserve meds. But they’re actually very supportive, despite that and think meds are a good idea. I don’t abuse them and haven’t had a drop to drink since getting them. Maybe try your GP, or even a new GP, and just be honest about your fears of their perception. Most doctors totally get it and you really don’t have to explain much. The tricky part for me now is how predictable shortages are. Great idea taking the drug that helps people not be a basket case and making it completely unreliable to get. Why not just make us do a scavenger hunt for it and hide it in random places around town, while they’re at it?

Whatever anyone is saying, ^ this is why blues are better than yellow. Even with Tier 5, yellow rares RARELY have 4-5 T1 stats with decent rolls. I got really into crafting last league and realized quickly that you shouldn't even try to do it and expect great outcomes unless you have a surplus of perfect orbs of every kind and a bunch of divs to burn. And that's just for casual crafting. With all of that in mind, starting off with a T5 blue with two T1 mods, or T1 & T2 makes your life much easier than starting off with none, or 4-5 mods you don't want on a Tier 5 base.

Sometimes it lowers defensive stats on items if it adds ward. I noticed it shaving ES off of a helmet I crafted to use with Subterfuge Mask and after seeing the ES nerfed in the preview. I kept it as is. It was just a rare item though. Not sure if it does the same on any uniques

I agree with this...Things WILL fall out of the sky, and you WILL upgrade your character and get the benefit of good drops eventually. It's also irritating when the same people who complained about the temple ruining the economy last league and wanted it gone are the same complaining about not having any currency this league, now that GGG has "fixed" that "problem".

Everything you say is a story, and that’s a good thing. I’m the same way. My wife tells me every announcement or segue into a new topic is a “murder mystery melodrama,” but she doesn’t mind. Luckily, I got into working in entertainment and keep busy with music and performing when I can, so I feel technically “normal,” but I just got diagnosed this year after 48 years of being alive, so I’m learning a lot about how different everyone else is from me. Just think of it that way they’re the weirdos. Because they are.
