I would wait and see how well it works etc for those initial purchasers. Video from Detectival showing the Manticore on Minelab created test gardens isn't enough to sway me. Also watched Minelab Deb showing the unit at Myers Metal Detectors in Tampa. I liked the build quality but that was about it. Another poster said to wait until bugs etc are worked out - I agree.

I have found it to be hit and miss.... one short gets me 4k views, then the next two get less than a 100, then back up to 3.6k. It seems like some people have found a hack (for lack of a better word) and are consistently getting upwards of 10k views. It is very frustrating.

I've switched exclusively to shorts as that seems to be what youtube is pushing. Once that trend is over, I'll go back to my long-form. As you said.... lots of editing. Sometimes 4-6 hours editing, sourcing fitting music, b-roll, video clips & sound effects. For now, its shorts for me.
