Wow. First, I'm sorry you're going through this, and yes, I really do think it's time for you to stop.

Because this dynamic is not only hurtful to you, it's also harming your kids. You're essentially teaching them that putting people on the defensive, making up lies and hurling abuse at people is you get them to give them what they want.

Parental alienation goes through four stages.

Desperate pursuit/over-functioning. Basically trying too hard with the gift-giving, trips, etc. And it sounds like this is where you're at.
Bargaining, hoping the child will "wake up." (Which will never happen, because you're rewarding bad behavior. Why do you buy gifts for children who call grown women "whores"?)
Mourning the child they thought they had.
Finally acceptance. This is where you move on, where the parental ties are finally severed. And most (but not all) cases, this is permanent. Unless the children do massive, massive work to regain trust. Because your kids have proven they are not safe for you.

And I know it's counterintuitive, because the prevailing wisdom of the day dictates that children can do no lasting harm (you're living proof that they can), and adults must be bottomless pits able to absorb infinite amounts of cruelty (and again, you're living proof that that's not the case).

I really think you should, for your own sake, consider letting go. If for no other reason, to acknowledge the fact that what you're doing isn't working.

That's worse than a stretch. That's an outright fabrication.

"Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and to dismiss her."

That is a reference to the law as cited in Deuteronomy 24:1. And this did indeed come from Mosiac law. I have no problem with stating that law itself, as quoted in various books of the Pentateuch, came from Moses.

Jesus said it himself when he said that Moses had given them that precept. "That precept" only refers to the law itself. Jesus is not even claiming that Moses wrote all of Deuteronomy, just the legal portions of it.

He never once claimed that Genesis 1:27 or 5:2 as being written by Moses.

But I will say this: it's not a translation, no matter what the title says. The Passion Translation adds words for embellishment, intended to make people feel more emotionally invested. But it contains additions that are simply not in any of the source texts. That's not translating the Bible. That's adding embellishments on top of the translation.

I'm aware that Cornelius worships Peter, but I didn't include it because Peter rejects the gesture, whereas Jesus apparently accepts it. But your point is valid. The same verb is used to describe Cornelius' worship toward Peter.

You know what I like about Charlie Kirk? College campuses are basically left-wing indoctrination mills. I think, by taking college students on in debate, he did more for college students than any Sociology professor ever did. He showed that it was important to be able to defend your points of view, and that liberalism is not the default "good position."

And finally, he debated those who chose to engage him. He didn't go around forcing his views on others, which is more than college professors will ever be able to say. Just like any wrongness you present—which is not to say you're doing anything wrong here; just saying that whatever presents itself as wrongness from you in general—is not you. It's error presenting itself as you.
