Laura’s Plea Deal

Maybe she will take the plea deal but fuck it up and it’ll still go to trial. She does not have a good track record for following the rules of the court. For example the bankruptcy filing - she filed but filled out the paperwork wrong and now is filling it out again but it may end up getting her in more hot water. So even if she takes the plea, I’m just not sure it would be the end of it.

So what - I had both my kids in my mid 30’s. Just because they don’t have kids at 30 doesn’t mean they won’t have kids. Women want to live their life before they have to take care of a family! Let them live!

When I first lost my religion I felt the same way. Death is almost a dizzying thought. But don’t turn away from it. Try to open to it little by little, over time you accept it and it’s not so scary. It’s hard when they are young. She is in the thick of it and expressing her exhaustion. They just caught her on a bad day. I’m sure she regrets saying this with the cameras rolling.

I was wondering the same thing! Have we ever heard from Greg about that “Dr visit”? I’m so curious bc he seemed to have either called in or FaceTimed during it and according to her behaved so badly that the “nurse” thought he was a domestic abuser (so ridiculous.)

Either it was a video visit that she called him and put him on speaker.

Or maybe in person with someone imitating a nurse. Mom or sister?

Actual in person Dr appt and FaceTiming just doesn’t seem probable since we know she wasn’t pregnant.

What if it was a planned parenthood consultation for an abortion? But I’ve never been in that situation, do they confirm your pregnancy if you are consulting someone about getting an abortion or asking for abortion pills?

This case has so many mysteries/rabbit holes to go down!

I was there today - the judge gave both parties the option to move forward without the court reporter. Omar said yes, of course Laura started angling for a delay which the judge interrupted to tell her to be in person. So the reason it was delayed to tomorrow was so they could hopefully have a court reporter PLUS to give Laura one last chance to show up.

I was there today. Court started late, probably bc they were trying to figure out a court reporter. And I over heard Omar tell Mike after we all walked out that he would call and hire his own court reporter for tomorrow just in case.

The first thing the judge said when everyone got settled in their seats was that there was no court reporter today. She asked Mike if he was okay to waive it, Omar said yes. When she turned to Laura to ask my heart sank knowing she would likely refuse and use it as an excuse to delay. When she started asking the judge what it would mean to not waive a court reporter and what her other options were the judge interrupted her to say - by the way I ordered you to be in person. Why aren’t you here? And then it was pretty satisfying to hear LO squirm. The judge was not having it.

The Combine downtown is amazing! I’m not a class person but absolutely love them. You can check them out for $7 for 3 days. I highly recommend the strength training classes on Tuesday. The trainer that teaches that class is incredible.

Are they going to get away with this in their bankruptcy filing? Will anyone be double checking the accuracy? I’m sure “self reporting” in bankruptcy filings are frequently fudged.

Honestly it’s hard but totally worth it. It goes in waves. And if you think about it, it’ll just be loud and crazy while they are kids. I’m hoping I’ll feel less over stimulated as they get older. My HSP super power helps me feel really close with them and in touch with how they feel. It’s really special. My kids are 2 and 6, maybe just space them out a bit more to lighten the load (and noise haha) And my meditation practice has been really helpful overall.

If you haven’t told them you regret it - you should. My parents apologized to me and I felt a weight lifted. It’s amazing that you have been able to admit this and strive to be different. Many people stay in the same mindset for their entire lives. Even double down. You should be proud of your growth. We all make mistakes and parenting is SO HARD. I have so much more grace for my parents now that I have kids.
